Beyoncé And Tina Knowles Talk Surrogacy Rumors!

Now that Blue Ivy Carter, the daughter of Beyonc├â┬⌐ and Jay-Z, has been born, it’s easy to forgot the rumors that circulated that the diva’s pregnancy was a hoax, and that she and her husband had used a surrogate to carry the child!
However, it’s clear that Bey’s own mother, Tina Knowles, has not, as she recently spoke out about the scandal in People Magazine, and even went as far to address the interview in which her daughter appeared to be wearing a prosthetic bump!
She says:

“I thought it was very unfair and very cruel that someone would think that someone would be that diabolical to keep up a charade like that for nine months. As a mother it was painful for me to hear the crazy rumors. And I even had people ask me, which was so ridiculous. It was a fabric that folded — does fabric not fold? Oh my gosh, so stupid. There was so much love and well wishes from all over the world — it made it easier to deal with the stupid rumors.”

And Beyoncé even elaborated, however, much more briefly:

“That was crazy. It wasn’t hurtful, it was just crazy. [I thought] ‘Where did they come up with this?’”

Ha! Good to hear that she didn’t let all that nonsense stress her out!
She had a baby on the way after all! Gurl kept her priorities in check!
But so sweet to hear Tina be so protective of her own daughter!
Luckily, all the silliness is in the past, and everyone can focus on the beautiful little bundle of joy that is Blue!
