Bill O'Reilly Apologizes For 'Dumb' Joke About House Rep. Maxine Waters Wearing A 'James Brown Wig'

What’s that, Bill O’Reilly? We can’t hear anything over that leaky butthole on the bottom of your face.
The political pundit talked himself right into another controversy on Fox News when he joked that Rep. Maxine Waters was wearing a “James Brown wig.”

On Tuesday’s Fox & Friends, the anchors watched a clip of Waters speaking in the House of Representatives — and while O’Reilly set out to address what the politician was saying, he started off with a jab at her appearance.
After the clip played, the conservative commentator said:

“I didn’t hear a word she said. I was looking at the James Brown wig. Do we have a picture of James Brown? It’s the same wig.”

Anchor Ainsley Earhardt jumped in to scold O’Reilly over his remarks, saying:

“I have to defend her on that. You can’t go after a woman’s looks. I think she’s very attractive.”

You know you’ve said something stupid when the other Fox News anchors instantly go into damage control mode!

But O’Reilly didn’t get the hint, and kept on comparing Waters to the Godfather of Soul before complimenting her sincerity. He continued:

“I didn’t say she wasn’t attractive. I love James Brown but it’s the same hair James Brown, the Godfather of Soul, had.”

Needless to say, the anchor got a ton of heat for making the racist comparison and shortly after ended up apologizing in a statement, writing:

“As I have said many times, I respect Congresswoman Maxine Waters for being sincere in her beliefs. I said that again today on Fox & Friends calling her old school. Unfortunately, I also made a jest about her hair which was dumb. I apologize.”

Unfortunately, anything intelligent that was said about the Rep. was overshadowed by his soulless, tasteless jab.
Keep in mind, Billy, you can’t shit on someone’s hairdo when you’re the one rocking half a scalp of pubic hair plugs.
