Leave it to Bill O’Reilly to fuck up his entire network as his career swirls in the toilet.
A new report out yesterday evening in the New York Times indicates that O’Reilly’s behavior specifically may have been the final straw that pushed Megyn Kelly from Fox News and into her new role at NBC News, according to insiders.

It all stems back to last year, when Kelly came out against then-Fox News head Roger Ailes, and on TV one morning as a guest of another network, O’Reilly roundly dismissed the accusations, belittled Kelly, and came in the defense of Fox as opposed to helping a fellow on-air anchor.
Sounds like Bill.
Megyn was allegedly so fed up from that exact moment that O’Reilly created, she used it as a final factor in her decision to leave Fox for NBC — and she apparently felt that, because of O’Reilly’s words, the culture at Fox News was never going to change, Ailes or not.
O’Reilly’s lawyer, Marc E. Kasowitz, responded to the NYT and this new report in a statement (below):
“Mr. O’Reilly cannot comment on what Megyn Kelly thought, or did or did not do, except to say she never raised any such issue with him, nor did anyone else. At this time, it is apparent to any objective observer that Mr. O’Reilly is being subjected to a malicious campaign intent on harming his reputation and family through speculation and innuendo.”
Well then.

Whatever the case, Kelly’s long gone now — and it appears that very soon, O’Reilly may be, too.
