Back in 2009, Calvin Harris made an enemy of Simon Cowell and got himself banned for life from X Factor UK — but now we’re hearing he’s actually been forgiven!
He may even be back on the show!

Harris pissed off the X Factor judge in ’09 when he took the stage in the middle of a live performance by Jedward to make fun of the group.
In case you didn’t see, he mocked them for their hairstyles by holding a pineapple up to his head. Ouch!
After that act, Cowell banned the 32-year-old and hasn’t had him back since, but now a source has come forward and told The Sun that:
“Simon wants A-listers on board and made a beeline for Calvin, ensuring him there would be no issues after the Jedward row. It was a long time ago and both have moved on so much since then.”
Calvin has moved on to become the biggest DJ in the world… Funny how that works…
As a result, Harris is now reportedly in advanced talks to appear on the Judges’ Houses round of the show along with Nicole Scherzinger.

Back when Calvin pulled the controversial stunt, he defended his actions saying:
“I was just inspired to make a mockery of the show because it is a music competition, it is a joke and I think it should be treated as such.”
The musical hottie continued:
“So when people were saying ├óΓé¼╦£John and Edward, maybe they deserve to stay in this week’, I was like ├óΓé¼╦£are you watching what I’m watching?”
Mean? Yes. But as Simon has softened up, maybe that’s what the show needs! He could be the new mean judge!
