Camila Cabello Feels Like She & Fifth Harmony Are In ‘A Really Good Place Right Now’
Who has time for drama? Not Camila Cabello, that’s for damn sure.
During a red carpet interview with Access Online before Monday’s 2018 MTV VMAs, the Havana singer revealed there was not a drop of bad blood between her and her former Fifth Harmony bandmates now that she’s been out of the group for so long.
Dishing on whether or not there she had any beef with Normani, Lauren Jauregui, Dinah Jane, or Ally Brooke, the pint-sized performer said:
“I don’t like any beefs. I feel like we’re in a really good place now, me and the girls. I saw Normani recently at the [Billboard Music Awards] and we caught up and I told her I’m super excited for her.”
Though Cami couldn’t remember the last time she saw the other girls, she said wishes nothing but the best for them, adding:
“I don’t remember the last time I saw the other girls, but I told [Normani] to say the same thing to them. I feel like there’s just been enough time and distance away from the situation that we’re all genuinely in a good place right now. And honestly, there’s just no time in life for that stuff. What’s the point?”
Some more cynical gossip sites might say the point is to sell records, but we’ll agree with Cam here.
After all, girl knows what she’s doing. The singer took home two of the biggest awards of the night at the VMAs, including artist of the year and video of the year.
Camila’s hands are literally too full (with awards) for any petty beefs!
