It's 4/20! Get Your Beauty High With CBD & Cannabis Products -- It's All The Rage Right Now!

Rihanna smoking in old Instagram pic

Today is Rihanna‘s favorite holiday… or so we think!
Actually, there are quite a few celebs who love to light up, regardless of whether it’s 4/20 or not, but for those of us who want to celebrate in some other ways, the beauty community is trying to get y’all high off their new cannabis products.
Not literally though! Sorry to disappoint.

What CBD skincare and beauty does boast though is helping with inflammation and supposedly even acne!
Spark up with some AH-mazing choices (below)!

Kiehl’s

Kiehl’s has introduced a new facial oil for problem skin, which aims to “visibly reduce skin redness and provides skin with relief from discomfort,” while also calming “the feeling of stressed skin while helping balance hydration” with the use of hemp-derived cannabis sativa seed oil and green oregano oil.
We know the word “oil” can sound scary if you’re suffering from acne, but there’s nothing to fear here. Applying just a couple drops of their Herbal Concentrate after cleansing, but before moisturizing, is said to help with blemishes!
Find it HERE!

Cannuka

CBD has hit Ulta‘s shelves thanks to Cannuka, their first and biggest CBD brand retail launch! With five different products boasting the anti-inflammatory properties of CBD combined with Manuka honey, they’re aiming to transform dry, distressed skin. And of course, you won’t find any THC in this collection.
Ch-ch-check out the line HERE.
It’s worth noting though that there are just 15 stores in three states — South Dakota, Nebraska and Idaho — that will not be carrying the line.

The Body Shop

It’s not just cannabis taking over the beauty industry, but hemp, too! Leave it to The Body Shop to have their own heavy-duty line to tackle dryness, including a body moisture protector, hand protector, heavy duty lip care, foot protector, body mitt, and face protector.

Truly Organic

Truly Organic is also seeing the benefits behind hemp oil, with theirs being lightweight but still strong enough to tackle dry skin, redness, inflammation.
Take a look at their Hemp Oil Facial Serum HERE!

Revolution Skincare

Revolution Skincare has TWO options for those venturing into the world of CBD: their essence spray and nourishing oil. While their mist (available HERE for just $7) is described as “ultra-soothing,” we have a feeling it’s just as refreshing, too!
You can also check out their oil (available HERE for $14) for calmer, more hydrated skin!

Saint Jane Beauty

While it’s not hard to see why CBD is being used in skincare, it is not often that you see it in your makeup! Saint Jane Beauty is changing that with their Microdose Lip Gloss, which is infused with beautiful, antioxidant-rich ingredients and 50mg of rich CBD. The first-ever 100% natural lip gloss formulated with CBD glides on smooth, while powerful botanicals like Sunflower, Chamomile and Aloe soothe and condition lips.”
Available in five different shades, we are very into these all-natural ingredients! Ch-ch-check out the stunning lip glosses HERE.

Lord Jones

Another beauty brand to hit Sephora’s shelves is Lord Jones, is becoming popular for its Body Lotion, which has 100 milligrams of CBD per bottle! As you’ve probably been seeing, one of the benefits of the ingredient is how hydrating it is, so it makes perfect sense it would make an amazing moisturizer for your body!
You can ch-ch-check out the luxurious lotion HERE!

Flora + Bast

https://www.instagram.com/p/BvhnZ8qnPHN/
Looking to up your skincare regimen? Try checking out Flora + Bast’s Age Adapting Facial Serum, designed to be used after cleanser, toner, and your essence. Describing it as “the foundation for your entire skincare routine,” this product aims to help reduce redness, clear blemishes, and hydrate!
Unlike some of the other facial oils we’ve mentioned so far, you’ll find over 300 milligrams of CBD in each bottle. And if you’re very into reading reviews, there’s almost all five-star raves on Sephora.com about this serum, which has to be saying something.
Ch-ch-check out Flora + Bast HERE!

Herbivore Botanicals

Surely you’ve heard of Herbivore Botanicals by now, but did you know also introduced their own CBD skincare product?? Launching on Sephora.com on 4/20 is the EMERALD CBD + Adaptogens Deep Moisture Glow Oil, which is actually available on Herbivore’s website if you’re 18 or older.
With 100 milligrams of CBD, this oil is said to soothe stressed skin and target redness, but for those not into the scent of cannabis, buyer beware! There is nothing fragrance free about this launch!

Mazz Hanna

https://www.instagram.com/p/BwAj-4Zhzsw/
Our first salve on our list! Mazz Hanna is doing something slightly different when it comes to getting hydration into our skin with the “blend of vitamin E, shea butter, and 11 therapeutic grade essential oils to soothe sore muscles,” along with 250 milligrams of CBD. It’s also been blessed by a shaman under a full moon… if that matters to you!
Ch-ch-check it out HERE!
Or you could also just “get stoned” with her crystal starter kit, available HERE.

Josie Maran

Rather than boasting CBD, Josie Maran’s Skin Dope actually relies on 50% hemp oil to combat dull skin and dryness and 50% argan oil. And not only are we talking clean ingredients, but the product comes in recyclable packaging, though we think you can find useful ways to upcycle this glass bottle — along with some of the others we’ve seen!
Take a look HERE!

Kana Skincare

Kana is offering all sorts of different options for those looking to try out hemp and CBD in their regimen! There’s their EGF + Hemp active botanical essence (above) in addition to their lavender hemp sleeping mask, purple rice hemp sleeping mask, and L I T hemp oil facial blend.
We were immediately drawn to the nighttime masks, but it’s not often that you see an essence, which is an essentially lightweight and less concentrated serum, made with hemp!
Ch-ch-check out all their products HERE.

Peter Thomas Roth

But going back to nighttime masks, Peter Thomas Roth has also joined the game with the Green Releaf Therapeutic Sleep Cream (available HERE) formulated with hemp-derived cannabis sativa seed oil. The THC and CBD free moisturizer does feature a “two-percent retinoid complex that gently smooths the look of fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, and texture.”
Meanwhile, the Green Releaf Calming Face Oil (available HERE) is claimed to be “the real deal” when it comes to soothing irritated skin, according to one reviewer.

High Beauty

Cannabis-powered brand High Beauty is also sold at Sephora with two products already getting gushed about: the High Five Cannabis Seed Facial Moisturizer (HERE) and High Expectations Cannabis Seed Facial Oil (HERE).
There’s only so much that can be said about the same ingredient over and over, so let’s just stare at the packaging, shall we?? A millennial pink cap paired with a green glass jar is what vanity goals are made of!

Plant People

So far, all the CBD products we’ve covered have been topical, but Plant People’s Drops (available HERE) are different since you’re applying half a dropper of oil under the tongue. Claiming to help with anxiety, inflammation, adrenal rejuvenation, tension release, and enhanced cognition, you could think of it as the cherry hemp on top of your beauty routine!

Fleur Marché

Fleur Marché is aiming to be your one-stop shop when it comes to CBD products, specifically in the beauty and wellness spectrum. Supplying brands like Kana, Cannuka, and more, there’s a lot to take in. Coming in as a beginner? Check out their Le Beauty Kit HERE!

Milk Makeup

Milk Makeup is diving into the “trend” with their KUSH collection, which started with their now bestselling High Volume mascara. The line has now extended to include a waterproof version, Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil Hydrating Face Mask (above), Hydro Grip Primer, KUSH Fiber Brow Gel, KUSH Lip Balm (below), among others.
We don’t see their line stopping there, either! Of course, it’s worth noting some of the brand’s products are just inspired by their apparent love of cannabis, while some are actually infused.
Ch-ch-check some of ’em out HERE, HERE, and HERE!

Murad

No flashy green packaging with Murad’s Revitalixir Recovery Serum (available HERE). Used on your face and eyes, it’s meant to act like a “quick pick-me-up” with its formulation of “moisturizing cannabis, smoothing paracress extract, and hydrating hyaluronic acid.”

Khus + Khus

Another serum for the list is Khun + Khun’s offering made from endocannabinoid hemp extract, ruh khus, rhododendron, somalian frankincense co2, wild french lavender, black currant, and squalane is a fit for those with sensitive skin and/or acne!
Ch-ch-check it out HERE!

Farmacy Beauty

Farmacy Beauty has been teasing their new debut, the Better Daze Ahead CBD Cushion Cream (peeks above and below), which finally launched on Sephora’s website on April 16… just in time!
Featuring hemp-derived CBD oil, the moisturizer’s purpose is to combat dry skin without leaving you feeling greased up for whatever your day — or night — has in store for you!
Be on the watch for it to come back in stock HERE!

Origins

Origins has also jumped on the bandwagon with a face mask, something we haven’t been seeing enough of! Their Hello Calm relaxing and hydrating mask with cannabis sativa seed oil is green, because duh, is described as “lush and nourishing,” along with being instantly hydrating!
Just take a look HERE!

The Gold Q

The Gold Q has also delved into topical creams and even eye repair creams to help with dark circles! It seems like refined hemp extract is one of the last ingredients listed though, so don’t expect to find much featured in these formulations.
Curious to learn more?? Take a look HERE!

First Aid Beauty

“Infused with Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil from hemp and Colloidal Oatmeal to help de-stress, relieve, and nourish dry, reactive, and sensitive skin,” First Aid Beauty has launched their way into the new “trend” with their facial oil!
We’re seeing a lot of the same benefits here as we’ve seen with others, but you’ll find at $30 (HERE), this is a much more attainable option if you’re just testing out the waters!

The CBD Skincare Co.

With 10 different body bar options all mixed with CBD oil, exfoliating cleansers, shampoo, and conditioner, you can transform your entire regimen to help clean and soothe your body!
There’s a lot to see HERE!

Vertly

Not your “ordinary lip balm” from Vertly, you’ll find with its coconut oil, shea butter, cacao butter, kokum butter and jojoba oil, you’re going to have some super moistruzing lips! And an added bonus? “Vertly can also be used to spot treat parts of the face, hands and body that need extra TLC. The standout ingredient is a hemp-derived cannabinoid extract (CBD), which can be incredibly beneficial for skincare and wellness.”
Amazing! See it HERE!

Hora Skin care

Another brand using CBD to enhance skincare is Hora, with their Super Serum and Overnight Exfoliating Mask! You’ll find 422 milligrams of CBD in the latter and 250 milligrams in the facial oil!
That’s a whole lot, which might be why they say you only need a light layer! We’re all for that, especially if that means the product will last longer since these two don’t exactly come cheap.
Want to check them out?? Just click HERE and HERE!

Maison Margiela Fragrances

And of course, we couldn’t round out this list without Maison Margiela Fragrances’ Music Festival scent (available HERE), which has key notes of cannabis accord, patchouli essence, and leather accord.
Mhmm, we can smell Coachella already!
With so many options out there, which ones will U be trying?? Or would you rather keep CBD out of your medicine cabinet completely?
