2023 hasn’t been easy when it comes to the love lives of many celebrity couples.

Whether it’s been the end of a short-lived fling or a decade-long marriage, a LOT of relationships have fallen apart in Hollywood this year, and some of them are so sad to see come to an end!

Everyone from Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner to the Scandoval implosion of Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval, from Joe and Sofia to Joe and Sophie, from Britney and Sam to Beyoncé‘s mom. It’s a lot, y’all. So get ready for some heartbreak, Perezcious readers!

Meadow Walker & Louis Thornton-Allan

Meadow Walker and her husband, Louis Thornton-Allan, are separated. The daughter of late actor Paul Walker announced in December the pair made the “united decision” to breakup after two years of marriage, saying:

“Statement from the two of us: After three [sic] wonderful years of marriage, we have come to the agreement to amicably separate. This is truly a united decision and we sincerely hope everyone can respect our wishes for privacy. We maintain mutual love and respect for one another, and will continue to support each other.”

Hopefully, their divorce will be an easy process!

Mariah Carey & Bryan tanaka

Following weeks of speculation, Bryan Tanaka confirmed in December that he and Mariah Carey ended their relationship after seven years. And he had the most respectful and sweet breakup announcement! The dancer said on Instagram:

“Dear friends and fans, With mixed emotions, I share this personal update regarding my amicable separation from Mariah Carey after seven extraordinary years together. Our decision to embark on different paths is mutual, and as we navigate these separate journeys, we do so with profound respect and an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the invaluable time we’ve shared. The memories we’ve created and the artistic collaborations are etched in my heart forever.”

He continued:

“Mariah’s dedication to her family and her commitment to her craft have inspired us during our shared journey. I want to express my love and appreciation for Mariah and her incredible children, whose warmth and kindness have enriched my life in ways words cannot capture. During this sensitive time, I kindly ask for your understanding, privacy, and respect. The outpouring of love and support from fans has been a beacon of strength, and I am extremely grateful for the encouragement that continues to uplift me. I eagerly anticipate continuing my journey, knowing my passion for inspiration, dance and the creative arts will resonate in the unfolding chapters.”

At this time, Mariah has not spoken out about the split — other than cryptically sharing that she had a tough year. But an insider for Page Six previously claimed the pair broke up due to his desire to start a family of his own. We guess that is what he potentially meant by embarking “on different paths” now.

Kendall Jennre & Bad Bunny

Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny’s relationship didn’t make it into the new year! After rumors swirled around for a while that the 28-year-old model and rapper’s romance was on the rocks, a source for People confirmed in December that they are no longer together.

Fans – and even some of Kenny’s friends – weren’t shocked by the news, as they seemed like an odd pairing from the start! As for what ended their relationship? An insider for The Messenger claimed The Kardashians star “felt the relationship truly ran its course,” adding:

“There’s no bad blood. They are even still in contact. Their relationship had been rocky due to their busy schedules.”

However, this romance may not be over for good yet! Another source for Us Weekly pointed out that “Kendall has had a few on-off relationships in the past, so they wouldn’t be totally surprised if she got back together with him at some point.” So this may not be the last we hear about Kendall and Bad Bunny as a couple! We’ll see what 2024 brings!

Cardi B & Offset

Cardi B and Offset broke up again! Rumors of the split were circulating in early December when the pair unfollowed each other on Instagram. And we all know that is never a good sign! They then shared some cryptic messages alluding to a breakup on social media. When allegations the Migos star cheated on her (again), this time with Chrisean Rock, started, Cardi finally confirmed on Instagram Live that the couple was over after six years of marriage.

She noted she does not “think” the infidelity rumors are true. However, Cardi isn’t worried about whether he cheated or not since they’ve been broken up for a while:

“I don’t care to find out because I’ve been single for a minute now. … I just don’t know how to tell the world.”

Although the former couple is known to be on and off again, their breakup seems final this time!

Kacey Musgraves & Cole Schafer

Kacey Musgraves is a single woman again. According to Page Six, the country singer’s romance with poet Cole Schafer has ended after two years. While the exact reason for the breakup is unknown at this time, sources told the outlet that they have been over “for at least a month.” The former couple has even taken steps in making their split official and unfollowed each other on Instagram.

Eric McCormack & Janet Holden

After more than 26 years of marriage, Eric McCormack and Janet Leigh Holden McCormack are calling it quits. According to court documents obtained by People, she filed for divorce from the Will and Grace alum on November 22 in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Janet cited “irreconcilable differences,” not listing a date of separation in the filing. The director is also asking for spousal support and demanding the court end Eric’s ability to receive spousal support. Oof. It’s so sad to see two people who were married for so long go their separate ways.

Antoni Porowski & Kevin Harrington

Queer Eye’s Antoni Porowski and his partner Kevin Harrington have ended their engagement after four years together! A rep said in a statement to People in November:

“After many conversations and reflection during the wedding planning process, Antoni and Kevin have amicably decided to part ways. While they still have a lot of respect for each other, as they talked more about the future, they realized they were on different paths. They both remain focused on work, and are surrounding themselves with friends during this time.”

Chris Appleton & Lukas Gage

Perhaps they really shouldn’t have had a three-time divorcee officiate their wedding. After only six months of marriage, Kim Kardashian’s hairstylist, Chris Appleton, filed for divorce from Lukas Gage on November 13. He cited irreconcilable differences as the cause of the split. But when two people are breaking up after only a few months, you know things are messy and complicated behind the scenes!

In fact, the split was reportedly “not amicable” between them! As for why Chris and Lukas are on bad terms amid their divorce? Some sources claimed allegations of infidelity and Chris’ alleged “controlling and possessive” ways caused The White Lotus star to end their marriage.

They even claimed while the couple “played” together, their rumored open relationship potentially created problems in the marriage. However, another insider claimed the opposite – instead pinning the cause of the divorce on Lukas:

“There was never an open relationship, Chris never cheated on Lukas. The timing of the filming is irrelevant to the episode, there was no choice but to file when he did. There was a side to Lukas that Chris did not see prior to the marriage and this being Chris’s first marriage he went with a lot of love.”

Hmm. Well, something definitely happened here! We’ll just have to wait and see what else comes out amid the divorce process!

Lupita Nyong’o & Selema Masekela

Lupita Nyong’o’s relationship with Selema Masekela is over. And it doesn’t sound like their split was amicable! She took to Instagram in November to make the announcement, writing:

“At this moment, it is necessary for me to share a personal truth and publicly dissociate myself from someone I can no longer trust … I find myself in a season of heartbreak because of a love suddenly and devastatingly extinguished by deception.”

The 40-year-old actress told fans she was “tempted to run into the shadows and hide” and only return to social media once she “regained” strength. But instead of bottling up her emotions, Lupita decided to be honest with everyone about her current life status:

“I am choosing to face the pain, cultivating the courage to meet my life exactly as it is, and trusting that this too shall pass. The promise, they say, is that a tender heart is what gives birth to fearlessness. I hope it’s true … I share this to keep it 100, and hoping that the knowledge of my experience might be useful to someone else out there experiencing the grip of heartbreak who is poised to try and escape from the pain and miss out on the wisdom that comes from it. #Breakup.”

Selema never addressed their breakup. However, both of them no longer have photos of one another on their pages. Despite experiencing a painful split, Lupita seems to be moving on already! She has been romantically linked with newly single Joshua Jackson. Good for her!

Lori Harvey & Damson Idris

Lori Harvey is back on the market. She and Damson Idris went their separate ways after more than one year of dating. They said in a joint statement to The Hollywood Reporter in November:

“We are at a point in our lives where our individual paths require our full attention and dedication. We part ways remaining friends with nothing but love and respect for each other and the time we shared together.”

Keke Palmer & Darius Jackson

It has been a tough year for Keke Palmer. Earlier this year, the 30-year-old actress made headlines with her boyfriend Darius Jackson after he publicly shamed her for wearing a sheer black dress over a matching thong bodysuit to Usher‘s concert in Las Vegas while she’s a mom. Reports broke out shortly after the controversy that the two had split. However, they were then seen together for her birthday in August.

Then we learned the two ended their relationship officially in October when Keke sought out a temporary restraining order against the fitness instructor, as well as temporary sole custody of their baby boy, Leodis. In a November filing, she accused Darius of being physically and emotionally abusive during their two-year relationship. Keke was granted the restraining order and full custody. And since then, the legal battle has continued to heat up.

Darius fired back at his ex-girlfriend in a counterclaim, accusing her of being the one who “repeatedly engaged in abusive conduct” and “acted as the primary aggressor” during their relationship. It has been a tumultuous situation.

Meryl Streep & Don Gummer

Did anyone see this coming?! In a similar situation to Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, Meryl Streep and her longtime husband, Don Gummer, have separated after 45 years of marriage — and they have been for a while! A representative for the 74-year-old actress dropped the bombshell news to People in October, revealing the former couple ended their romantic relationship over six years ago. They said:

“Don Gummer and Meryl Streep have been separated for more than 6 years, and while they will always care for each other, they have chosen lives apart.”

Tom Brady & Irina Shayk

In October, TMZ reported Tom Brady and Irina Shayk ended their relationship after less than four months together. An insider insisted things between the former couple “fizzled out” with no major drama or scandal going on behind the scenes.

Signs of their breakup were evident as the athlete and supermodel were spending more time apart, with Tom in Miami and Irina in New York City. An insider close to the former couple revealed to People the distance played a big role in their relationship fizzling out so soon:

“Irina was very attracted to Tom. She liked dating him. It excited her. They had fun traveling to see each other. In the end, it kind of just fizzled. They both keep having obligations, and it was getting more difficult to be in the same city at the same time.”

As many couples know, long distance is not easy! Although their romance is over, there are no hard feelings between them at the end of the day. The insider noted that “Irina has nothing but great things to say about Tom,” while another source told Us Weekly, “There’s no ill will towards each other.” We’re here for exes ending things on good terms!

Maren Morris & Ryan Hurd

Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd won’t be writing love songs together anymore! After five years of marriage, the 33-year-old singer filed for divorce. She submitted the paperwork on October 5, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their breakup.

In her filing, Maren asked the court to honor their prenuptial agreement and for joint custody of their son Hayes, with a request for a permanent parenting plan to be established. Hopefully, their divorce won’t get messy. But considering how it was only weeks ago when Ryan was praising Maren amid her exit from country music, something huge must have happened for her to pull the plug on their marriage suddenly!

Chrissy Metz & Bradley Collins

After nearly four years together, Chrissy Metz ended her relationship with Bradley Collins. The two shared the news on Instagram in October, writing in a joint statement:

“After three and a half years together, we’ve decided to end our romantic relationship amicably. While we continue to love each other very much, we believe this is the best path for us both. We still have books to write, songs to sing, and a special friendship to keep us in each other’s lives forever.”

We love that they’re seemingly ending things well and maintaining a friendship together.

Joshua Jackson & Jodie Turner-Smith

No one saw this breakup coming! Jodie Turner-Smith filed for divorce from Joshua on October 2 after four years of marriage. While neither of them have publicly addressed the split, the 37-year-old actress cited irreconcilable differences as the cause of it.

This divorce news seemed to come out of nowhere for fans. Jodie and Joshua just seemed so in love, as they did nothing but gush about each other throughout their relationship. However, we’ve since learned that they were possibly separated for over a year and kept up appearances for money. Obviously, take this accusation with a grain of salt since the former couple haven’t talked about their situation yet. Plus, sources have said Joshua has been devastated since he was “caught off guard” by the breakup:

“Joshua was clearly caught off guard by Jodie’s decision to divorce. They had their issues, as many couples do — especially two busy actors who are also juggling a child. Joshua obviously didn’t realize it was this bad, that Jodie was this unhappy.”

Teyana Taylor & Iman Shumpert

Following months of speculation, Teyana Taylor revealed she and Iman Shumpert have separated after seven years of marriage. As for why they’re over? While she did not say, she did make it clear that the rumors about them breaking up due to infidelity were false! The 32-year-old singer said on social media in September:

“In all fairness, Iman and I are separated and have been for a while. To be 1000% clear, ‘infidelity’ ain’t one of the reasons for our departure. We are still the best of friends, great business partners and are one hell of a team when it comes to co-parenting our 2 beautiful children. Most importantly we are FAMILY & in the 10yrs together, 7yrs married we ain’t ever played with or about THAT.”

She added:

“We just keep y’all asses out the group chat lol, which is the reason we’ve been able to successfully & peacefully separate without all of the outside noise. The only reason I’m even sharing THIS part of the chat is because the narratives are getting a little out of hand & it’s unfair to all parties involved. I hope this provided some clarity for y’all.”

Hugh Jackman & Deborra-Lee Furness

It’s hard to believe, but Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness are ending their marriage after 27 years. The couple announced in a joint statement to People on September 15:

“We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth. Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives. This is the sole statement either of us will make.”

They’d been together for so long that no one saw this breakup ever coming. It was a true shocker to see! However, the duo did give some hints to everyone that their relationship was coming to an end days before the divorce announcement. On September 12, Deborra actually stepped out onto the streets of New York City noticeably without her wedding ring. And this wasn’t the first time she was caught without the jewelry item either! In fact, Deborra and Hugh were both seen without their rings back in July. So this divorce sadly seemed to be in the works for some time. Ugh.

Jeannie Mai & Jeezy

Jeezy has filed for divorce from Jeannie Mai after only two years of marriage. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in September, the court documents in Fulton County Superior Court stated that the 45-year-old rapper and the 44-year-old television host have been separated. As for how long, that is not clear. The two also have a prenup. When it comes to their 1-year-old daughter Monaco, Jeezy is seeking joint custody with Jeannie.

At this time, neither of them have spoken out about the divorce. The reason for the split is also unknown at this time. But People reported that the divorce docs further revealed that Jeezy stated their marriage is “irretrievably broken” with “no hope for reconciliation.” Whoa. What happened?!

Danny Masterson & Bijou Phillips

She’s no longer sticking by his side. Shortly after Danny Masterson was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison for raping two women, Bijou Phillips filed for divorce from her husband. The news came as quite a shock since the 43-year-old model supported the That ‘70s Show actor as he went through all the litigation involved with the case.

But sources claimed one of the main reasons Bijou filed for divorce was to “protect her assets” from potential future lawsuits. If Danny got sued and their money was still together, that would be a nightmare for the mom. However, it wasn’t an easy decision for the actress. An insider said to Us Weekly that “this experience has been devastating and humiliating for Bijou,” but that “she’s focused on being a mom and preserving her future no matter what.”

She even asked to “terminate the court’s ability to grant support” to Danny and have their assets be considered separate property – in order to keep the remaining money after all of her estranged husband’s legal fees are removed from the equation. A source added:

“Bijou’s very sensitive about her family’s financial security, and the impending divorce is clearly a big piece of that plan. The only reason she’s filing to end the marriage is to put a sizable amount of Danny’s assets out of reach of further litigation.”

She’s gotta do what’s best for her kid Fianna…

Joe Jonas & Sophie Turner

This is an S.O.S. After four years of marriage, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have broken up. The 34-year-old singer filed for divorce on September 5, stating their marriage was “irretrievably broken.” It’s unknown what exactly led to their split. However, they reportedly were having some “serious problems” for six months. An insider for TMZ also claimed:

“She likes to party, he likes to stay at home. They have very different lifestyles.”

Now, take that with a grain of salt since the couple has previously said she was more of the “homebody” in the relationship! And since the news of the broke, the estranged couple have spoken out, insisting this was a mutual decision they made to break up:

“After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”

While they may say this was a “united decision,” it does seem like some shady things went down that caused the split. According to TMZ, Joe caught the Game of Thrones alum saying or doing something on a Ring camera that “made him realize the marriage was over.”

It’s unknown what she did that was so awful to the point that Joe had enough and filed for divorce, but it must have been pretty bad. We mean, it wasn’t even three weeks ago that Joe was dedicating a song to Sophie and publicly praising her for always having his “back no matter what.” They seemed so in love at the time, so we cannot help but wonder if some serious s**t happened.

Lindsay Hubbard & Carl Radke

Paige DeSorbo knew it all along – Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke weren’t meant to last! Just months before the pair were supposed to get married in Mexico, Carl completely “blindsided” the 37-year-old reality star and ended their engagement… reportedly on camera. A source told Entertainment Tonight:

“Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard have called off their engagement. The two were set to get married in November, but Carl told Lindsay he couldn’t move forward with the wedding. The breakup was filmed and will most likely play out on the next season of Summer House.”

Damn. While the Summer House stars have not publicly addressed the breakup, Carl apologized to loved ones for canceling the wedding in a letter obtained by People. The 38-year-old wrote:

“Words cannot possibly express how difficult the last two weeks have been for Lindsay and I. We are so incredibly sorry to all of our guests for the confusion and lack of communication. We were left trying to figure out how this all exactly happened before we could even have the opportunity to determine the path forward amongst ourselves.”

He went on to shut down the rumors surrounding their breakup, saying the two of them are wrecked right now:

“There have been a lot of false narratives and misunderstandings that have made this all the more painful but sadly at this time we are not moving forward with the wedding. The fact of the matter is Lindsay is devastated and I’m crushed with how all this transpired. I graciously ask for some patience and grace to heal and recover while we navigate this extremely difficult time.”

As you can imagine, Lindsay wasn’t too happy about her ex speaking on her behalf! A Page Six source claimed she never gave him permission to send this note to their friends and family, saying:

“Lindsay did not approve of Carl’s letter before it was made public, so there is no ‘we’. She’s definitely hurt by it, for sure.”

Yeesh. The next season of Summer House should be inneresting after this breakup…

Pete Davidson & Chase Sui Wonders

Pete Davidson and Chase Sui Wonders’ romance is finished! A source told People that the duo ended their relationship less than a year in, saying:

“He’s single again. He’s out and about and doing really well.”

As for what caused them to come to an end? An insider for Us Weekly said Pete and Chase “decided to go their separate ways” after they realized the “relationship had simply run its course and they decided they just wanted different things,” adding:

“There’s no bad blood or any hard feelings between them.”

Instead of feeling down about the split, both of them seem to be doing well! Chase has been seen out and about with friends since the news broke, while the Us Weekly insider stated the comedian has been handling the breakup really well.”

Britney Spears & Sam ASghari

In August, Sam Asghari filed for divorce from Britney Spears after more than a year of marriage. While he cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the sudden split, there have been a ton of rumors circulating about what really happened – including accusations that she cheated on him with a male staff member. Whoa. Sources on Britney’s side shut down the infidelity rumors, claiming they were over due to “fundamental issues” in their marriage. He also reportedly never spent time with her anymore. Furthermore, Sam has been accused of cheating and sexual harassment since the divorce news.

Other insiders claimed they were just “toxic” together, and the 41-year-old pop sensation had been violent with Sam throughout their relationship. It’s important to note people should take these allegations with a grain of salt, as there is money at stake in this divorce.

The 29-year-old is attempting to fight parts of their prenuptial agreement by asking Britney to pay spousal support and cover his legal fees. And even though Sam is reportedly supposed to get nothing, including spousal support, from the divorce based on their marital agreement, there’s a strong chance he’ll get thousands of dollars in exchange for his silence. Hence, there have also been rumors of him blackmailing Britney and threatening to release “embarrassing” things about her. Ugh.

Ultimately, it sounds like they grew apart long before they got hitched. An ET source claimed things started to go downhill in their relationship when Jamie Spears filed to end her conservatorship after 13 years. They explained that “a lot changed” between the pair, and Britney felt the former personal trainer began to control her:

“Britney could be argumentative at times, but also felt like Sam didn’t let her do a lot of things without him. Before Britney’s conservatorship ended, Sam was very supportive. Once it ended, Britney felt very free, but that eventually changed based on certain dynamics in her relationship with Sam. Britney felt like things shifted in her relationship with Sam once her conservatorship ended. Before it ended, Britney was more in a set routine, but once she was free, a lot changed.”

The insider added:

“Britney wanted to embrace her freedom and felt like Sam couldn’t necessarily handle that. Britney will never let another person control her, and she felt like that was starting to happen again.”

A lot has already come out about this divorce, and we can only expect even more bombshell accusations to be thrown around in the coming months!

Khadijah Haqq & Bobby McCray

Khadijah Haqq will need all of the support of her twin sister Malika Haqq and best friend Khloé Kardashian now. The 40-year-old actress revealed on social media in August that she’s splitting with former NFL player Bobby McCray after 13 years of marriage:

“Now more than ever I have been relying on prayer. Family is so important to me. Unfortunately, life has brought me to tremendous transition. After 13 years of marriage, 16 years together and 4 incredible children, I have come to the intensely difficult conclusion that while Bobby & I have a great deal of love for one other, it’s best we move forward separately.”

She continued:

“I did not come to this decision lightly. For the most part, I have kept my relationship private for the benefit of our family. I share this not because I believe it’s newsworthy ~ But so that we go about our lives with honesty and to begin the journey of co-parenting. I’m so grateful for my incredible support system!”

It’s truly heartbreaking to hear as the former couple were together for a long time. They share three children – a son Christian and daughters Kapri and Celine. Khadijah and Bobby also parent his son Bobby McCray III from a previous relationship. At this time, neither of them has come forward to share any information about why they’re suddenly separating. Obviously, nothing big could have happened. They simply could have grown apart, as some couples do. But for now, at least, the reason is up in the air. Here’s hoping they can continue a healthy and amicable co-parenting relationship!

Corey Feldman & Courtney Anne Mitchell

Corey Feldman separated from his wife of six years, Courtney Anne Mitchell. The Goonies star told Page Six in a statement in August:

“It is with great sadness that Courtney and I have made the decision to separate after many wonderful years together,” the “Goonies” star told us in a statement. “We have been through so much together and still have much love and respect for each other. There is no one to blame.”

He noted that Courtney was going through some health issues that made life “really hard,” thus leading them to have “grown apart” and “find themselves at a crossroads.” So much for sickness and health, huh?! Courtney confirmed the separation with her own statement to the outlet, saying:

“It is with a deep and heavy sadness that I am announcing my separation from Corey. We’ve shared some amazing times together both private and public, and I will always cherish these moments we’ve shared together. I love him dearly and I always will.”

She went on to explain that she was battling several health issues over the past two years, including hives and chronic fatigue:

“I’ve struggled for two years with health issues old and new; and this has taken a massive toll on me and my family. I always try to keep positive and a light heart regardless of what I am going through physically, but sadly it has now crossed a threshold where I can no longer continue on with the tour. It’s been a long journey of dealing with my own chronic fatigue syndrome which makes it difficult to keep up with the high energy of touring and traveling from place to place… However, I do wish ‘My Love, Husband, & Friend,’ and the bandmates a happy tour and the very best out there. Kaitlyn Bristowe & Jason Tartick

A Bachelor Nation heartbreak. Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick ended their engagement. They announced the news in August following weeks of split speculation from fans:

“After sharing the news with family and close friends first, and taking the time to properly process it ourselves, we are saddened with heavy hearts to share that we have decided to end our engagement. We are thankful for all of you who gave us the time and space to process this life altering decision as there are many emotions and changes to navigate. … We are beyond thankful for the memories made together, and for your support of us and the boys throughout the years. Sophia Bush unexpectedly filed for divorce from her estranged husband, Grant Hughes, in August. Their breakup came less than two months after their first wedding anniversary. At the time of their big milestone, they seemed pretty happy. In fact she gushed about him in a since-deleted post on Instagram, writing:

“Today marks 365 days of calling you ‘husband.’ Best decision of my life. It still feels just like this. Ecstatic. Running toward the future, grinning and laughing, together. I love you, my favorite. Happy Anniversary.”

However, he denied the infidelity rumors on Instagram, writing:

“For some time, we have considered transforming our relationship, and it is after careful consideration that we have decided to end our marriage with love, respect and dignity for our children — preserving and honoring what we have experienced as a couple all these wonderful years. In a divorce petition filed by Ricky, he listed the reason for their split as the old catch-all: “irreconcilable differences.” But is there more to the story? Reports came out that the two had an “open relationship” during their marriage. Although they were OK with this arrangement at first, it didn’t end up working out. An insider insisted sex outside of their marriage wasn’t the reason for their split:

“Neither of them fell in love with someone else. Sex was something they engaged in together and separate with other partners. In the end, they decided that it was best for them, their well-being and for their kids if they end it amicably.”

However, the Latin television program Chisme No Like claimed that the singer had an “obsession with adult film star Max Barz:

“He is the actor Ricky Martin is obsessed with, they both follow each other on their social media and have probably already contacted each other.”

The show added that an affair with actor Eduardo Verastegui also ruined the duo’s relationship. Yikes! We thought they had an open marriage and it wasn’t the reason for their split? During an interview with Apple Music in July, the 27-year-old musician confirmed that he was once again single while talking about his struggles with codependency in relationships. When host Zane Lowe mentioned how love can be misconstrued as needing someone, Dominic agreed, saying:

“That has actually bled into my romantic relationships, that kind of dynamic. And it is often the cause of the end of my relationship. I’m just done being in relationships right now.”

We guess all the affair drama wasn’t worth it. Months after their cheating scandal made headlines, Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss officially parted ways. An insider told Page Six that the 28-year-old former pageant queen “dipped out” (IYKYK) after realizing that “Sandoval is not the one for her.” She probably should have determined that long before getting involved with the 40-year-old behind her best friend Ariana Madix’s back.

Billie Eilish & Jesse Rutherford

After less than a year of dating, Billie Eilish and Jesse Rutherford ended their relationship in May. A rep for the 21-year-old singer confirmed the news to Page Six, saying:

“We can confirm Billie and Jesse did split amicably and remain good friends.”

While no other details about the split came out at the time, the news didn’t come as a shock to many fans. Billie and Jesse hadn’t been spotted out together for a while, with their last outing being at Coachella in April. Signs that there was trouble in paradise for them emerged when the Bad Guy artist appeared at the Met Gala – alone.

She was then seen with Love, Victor actress Ava Capri at an afterparty, leading many to question if she had broken up with The Neighbourhood frontman, had cheated on him, or both. Cher is back in the dating world again. The 76-year-old singer and Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards called it quits in May after six months of dating. According to several reports, the former couple ended things weeks before the news broke. Although it’s unknown what led to the split or who ended things first, insiders claimed they parted ways amicably.

And get this! TMZ reported that the two were never engaged! Back in January, Cher was caught sporting a massive diamond ring she was given around Christmas. She even told paparazzi that she and the 37-year-old were engaged to be married. However, sources told the outlet that they were just having some fun and playing into the speculation by saying it was an engagement ring. Wow. They had us all fooled.

Kevin Costner & Christine Baumgartner

And the award for the nastiest split goes to Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner! She filed for divorce from the Yellowstone actor after 18 years of marriage in May. According to TMZ, Christine claimed “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. A rep for Kevin confirmed the breakup, telling the outlet at the time:

“It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action. We ask that his, Christine’s and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time.”

But their divorce got nasty very fast as they got into a bitter battle over how much child support he should shell out each month. After months of back and forth, they shockingly reached a settlement in September.

Kim Zolciak & Kroy Biermann

Kim Zolciak is going through it right now! After 11 years of marriage, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star is ending her marriage to Kroy Biermann. According to court docs obtained by TMZ, Kim listed the date of separation as April 30 – stating that their marriage was “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.” She also requested primary physical custody of their four children, Kroy, Kash, Kaia, and Kane, and joint legal custody. Additionally, she asked for spousal support.

If you were hoping for the divorce to be amicable, well, don’t hold your breath! Kroy later filed his own divorce paperwork, asking for sole legal and physical custody of their kids! And innerestingly enough, the former football player demanded she moves out of their Georgia mansion – the same place that has narrowly escaped foreclosure several times.

He then pointed out their financial struggles in the court filing by putting her on notice and requiring that she maintain all financial documents, including income records, tax records, expense records, and more. In case you didn’t know, it was revealed that the exes owe the IRS over $1 million and their home state $15K in unpaid taxes. Yikes! So this detail in the divorce docs leads us to believe that there’s some sort of disagreement about who is responsible for their money issues. And it might be Kim, as videos and reports about her allegedly blowing through thousands upon thousands of dollars gambling have resurfaced.

Oof. Things are going to get nasty here!

Alex Pettyfer & Toni Garrn

Alex Pettyfer and Toni Garrn are parting ways after two years of marriage. The 30-year-old model revealed the news on Instagram Stories on April 21, writing:

“Alex and I have made the very difficult decision to divorce. We will continue our relationship as friends and co-parents to our angel Luca.”

At this time, Alex – who shares 21-month-old daughter Luca with Toni – has not spoken out about the divorce announcement.

Jimmie Allen & Alexis Gale

The country world was rocked when Jimmie Allen not only revealed he was expecting his third child with his wife, Alexis Gale, but that the couple was separating after two years of marriage! He said in a statement on Insta in April:

“After much thought and reflection in recent months, Lex & I have made the decision to separate. As we navigate this life change, we can also share that we will be welcoming another child together later this year. Our number one priority is and always will be ensuring that our children are healthy, happy and loved, and we remain committed to co-parenting with love and respect for one another. She ended up posting the same message on her account. While their split seemed to be drama-free at first, things changed when Alexis made an eyebrow-raising move on the ‘gram. She both unfollowed her estranged hubby AND left this cryptic message:

“The silence is loud enough for me.”

No further explanation was given at the time – but clearly, this was aimed at the country singer!

Halsey & Alev Aydin

Halsey and Alev Aydin are no longer together. The news of their unexpected breakup came when the singer filed a petition in April to request full physical custody and joint legal custody of their 21-month-old son Ender Ridley Ayden. She also asked for joint expenses with visitation rights for Alev. It is unclear when and why the two decided to go their separate ways. However, a source told E! News that the breakup was “amicable,” noting that they plan to co-parent:

It’s the end of the road for Shannen Doherty and Kurt Iswarienko‘s 11-year marriage. According to TMZ, the 52-year-old actress filed for divorce from her estranged husband in Los Angeles in April and listed January 2023 as the initial date of separation. She also asked for spousal support and none to be awarded to Kurt.

Whoa! As for how their divorce is going so far? An insider close to the former couple claimed Shannen’s health is “not well,” making their “acrimonious” split even more difficult. Her rep, Leslie Sloane, also said about the breakup:

“Divorce is the last thing Shannen wanted. Unfortunately, she felt she was left with no other option. You can contact Kurt’s agent, Collier Grimm at PICTUREKID as she is intimately involved.”

“Intimately involved”?! Does anyone else think she is suggesting Kurt allegedly cheated on Shannen with his agent?! Well, that would explain why their split has been full of tension behind the scenes. According to court documents obtained by People in April, the 50-year-old actor filed for divorce from the One Tree Hill alum in January. Although the reason for the split was not revealed in the filing, Victor listed their date of separation as the 10th of that same month.

Interestingly, he has not posted any pictures with Shantel since July. Meanwhile, she has deleted her Instagram account. Were the signs of their divorce there all along?

Entertainment Tonight broke the news on April 8 that the pair have broken up after six years of dating, saying that it went down a few weeks ago, around the USA leg of The Eras Tour, and was “not dramatic.” As for why the split? An insider later told the outlet that Taylor decided to end things due to their personality differences:

“Taylor and Joe are in totally different places in their lives right now. It was more of Taylor’s decision to break up, but both of them realized that they weren’t completely right for one another. Sandoval’s best friend and business partner Tom Schwartz knew about his romance with Raquel – and potentially covered it up by hooking up with the 28-year-old during Scheana Shay‘s wedding in Mexico! Crazy, right? However, Schwartz denied everyone knowing about it. Kristen even claimed that the 40-year-old only knew about “a month.”

A lot has come out about Sandoval! And following a failed first attempt at an apology, Sandoval addressed how he “hurt” Ariana with his infidelity in a statement posted on Instagram:

“I want to first and foremost apologize to everyone I’ve hurt through this process. Most of all, I want to apologize to Ariana. I made mistakes, I was selfish, and made reckless decisions that hurt somebody I love. No one deserves to feel that pain so traumatically and publicly. I can only imagine how devastating this has been for Ariana and everyone around us. I feel really horrible about that. My biggest regret is that I dishonored Ariana. I never meant to disappoint so many people, including our loving families and friends.”

Raquel also publicly addressed her controversial relationship with Sandoval, saying:

“I want to apologize for my actions and my choices foremost to Ariana, and to my friends and the fans so invested in our relationships. There is no excuse, I am not a victim and I must own my actions and I deeply regret hurting Ariana.”

Despite the cheating scandal, Raquel and Sandoval don’t seem to be stopping their relationship anytime soon, as they were caught sleeping over at Sandoval house — which he shares with Ariana. Awful.

Drew Sidora & Ralph Pittman

Another Real Housewives couple has gone their separate ways. The Real Housewives of Atlanta stars Drew Sidora and Ralph Pittman ended their marriage after nearly 9 years. Ralph told People in March:

“Love is a beautiful thing. Unfortunately we have made the difficult decision to move on to our next chapters, independent of each other. Drew and I have decided to file for divorce. We have three amazing young children, and their mindset and growth is what is most important. As we navigate this difficult time, I ask that you please respect our privacy.”

Drew added in her own statement :

“After eight years of wholeheartedly fighting for my marriage, I have made the agonizing decision to release my husband with love. Although Ralph and I have decided to move forward separately, the hope is to remain friends so that we can co-parent responsibly. In spite of our very public life, I am asking for privacy during this difficult time as my children and I learn how to navigate through our new beginnings.”

According to court documents obtained by the outlet, Ralph filed for divorce hours after his estranged wife lodged her own petition. He listed their separation date as February 19 while the Step Up actress noted it as February 23. As for the reason for their split? She noted that “there is no chance or hope of reconciliation” between them. She later submitted an amended divorce filing shockingly accusing Ralph of being a “serial cheater and adulterer” who abused her mentally, and financially, and got “physically aggressive” with her at one point. OMG!

While Ralph asked for joint legal and physical custody of their kids, Drew requested joint legal but temporary and permanent primary physical custody. It sounds like this divorce is going to get nasty.

Maddie Ziegler & Eddie Benjamin

Maddie Ziegler ended things with Eddie Benjamin this year! A source close to the former couple revealed to People in February that the Dance Moms alum and the 21-year-old musician “amicably” broke up after more than three years of dating. Neither of them has spoken out about the split reports. However, Maddie noticeably has not shared a picture with the singer on Instagram since January 24.

For those who don’t know, the 20-year-old dancer began dating Benjamin in 2019 – but they didn’t reveal their relationship to the world until March 2020. The pair continued to keep their relationship low-key, not even making their red-carpet debut until August 2022. But it looks like things have fizzled out between them now!

Maisie Williams & Reuben Selby

Maisie Williams and Reuben Selby are over after five years of dating. The Game Of Thrones actress announced the split on Instagram Stories in February. Calling it the “end of an era,” she wrote at the time:

“@reubenselby_ and I decided to end our relationship. Since we met 5 years ago, our connection always extended deeply into our shared, and separate, creative careers… and it will continue to do so…. This decision is something we are so grateful for so as we can protect the magic, that we can’t help but emit, whenever we put out brains together.”

Concluding the statement, Maisie asked for “no further questions” right now and noted they “must protect our children” – AKA her dog.

Avril Lavigne & Mod Sun

Less than a year after getting engaged, Avril Lavigne and Mod Sun ended their relationship in February. Fans began to speculate that the 38-year-old singer broke up with her partner and moved on with someone else already after she was spotted out with rapper Tyga at Malibu Nobu. Sources eventually came forward to reveal that Avril called off her engagement with Mod Sun. However, the news was apparently a surprise to him as his rep said:

“They were together and engaged as of three days ago when Mod left for tour, so if anything has changed that’s news to him.”

As for her status with Tyga? Sources claimed the two were nothing more than friends, even though they were caught hanging out together multiple times. It seemed like nothing more than a PR person trying to help Avril save face amid the rumors that she cheated on Mod Sun. But the Complicated artist decided to throw caution to the wind and packed on the PDA with Tyga during Paris Fashion Week! Unfortunately for Mod Sun, they confirmed the relationship rumors with a kiss – and he was left heartbroken. Oof.

Bam Margera & Nikki Boyd

After almost 10 years of marriage, Nicole Boyd filed for legal separation from Bam Margera. According to TMZ in February, she filed the papers in Los Angeles – citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their breakup. Nicole asked for legal and physical custody of their 5-year-old son, Phoenix. But the filing noted that she will allow the 43-year-old personality to have supervised visitation of their child, as long as it is in LA County and he covers the expenses. She also asked for spousal support, but the fallout of that has been quite messy. This split comes amid Margera’s public battle with substance abuse.

Camila Cabello & Austin Kevitch

Camila Cabello is single again! She and Austin Kevitch broke up in February after eight months of dating. According to multiple outlets, their split was announced in the newsletter for his dating app Lox Club. It simply stated:

“Austin is single again.”

No other details were provided. However, a source told Entertainment Tonight that the reason for Camila and Austin’s split was due to their “very busy” careers, adding that it “became difficult to balance that and their relationship.”

Falynn Pina & Jaylan Banks

Just over a year after their engagement, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Falynn Pina and her fiancé Jaylan Banks have gone their separate ways. The pair, who share 14-month-old daughter Emma, announced their break up on Instagram on February 9, writing:

“It is with deep sadness in our hearts that we have decided to end our journey as a couple. Though we love each other very much, we feel it is best to part ways. Our bond as friends and family will never be broken. We ask for privacy at this time.”

It has been a difficult time for Jaylan and Falynn. The news of their split came one month after the 33-year-old reality star revealed she suffered a devastating miscarriage. She shared with her followers at the time:

“The Lord called our baby home. Though we understand that God has a plan, our home is filled with tears and broken hearts. Rest in heaven, Jean Pina Mommy and Daddy love you so very much.”

We can only imagine how hard it’s been for them.

Carly Chaikin & Ryan Bunnell

Mr. Robot actress Carly Chaikin and her husband, Ryan Bunnell, called it quits after more than a year of marriage. According to court documents obtained by The Blast in February, the filmmaker filed for divorce, citing the old catch-all “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. It is unknown if Ryan asked for spousal support. However, they do not have any children together, so the divorce should be a smooth and speedy process.

For those who don’t know, the former couple got married in November 2021 after getting engaged in 2018. Carly has not posted about her estranged hubby since 2020. She wrote in one of her last posts about him:

“My literal ride or die – I can’t believe it’s been SIX YEARS. You’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me, can’t wait for the rest of our lives @dutchmayhem.”

Oof… That did not age well!

DeAnna Pappas & Stephen Stagliano

DeAnna Pappas is taking back her final rose! The former Bachelorette announced in January that she and her husband, Stephen Stagliano, were calling it quits after more than a decade of marriage. She wrote in a statement on her Instagram:

“It is with immense sadness, Stephen & I have decided to end our relationship as a couple. We have been working hard for a long time — both as a married couple & as individuals — & have come to the conclusion to remain separate. We remain loving parents to our beautiful children, Addison & Austin, & will continue to raise them together with love & faith.”

In case you didn’t know, the now-former couple met through his twin brother, Michael Stagliano, who competed for Jillian Harris’ heart on season five of The Bachelorette. They got married in October 2011 and went on to have their 8-year-old daughter Addison and 6-year-old son Austin. Hopefully, these two can move forward with their divorce as amicably as possible!

Kylie Jenner & Travis Scott

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are “off again!” Us Weekly revealed on January 7 that the former couple broke up, saying they were going to spend the holidays together. However, she ditched those plans and went to Aspen, Colorado, with their daughter Stormi Webster, Kendall Jenner, and friends instead. The insider told the outlet:

“Kylie and Travis are off again, they were supposed to spend the holidays together, but she went to Aspen to be with her family and friends up there. This has happened so many times before, they’re known to be on again off again, but always remain friends and great co-parents.”

As for the reason behind their split? It sounds like it all came down to their lifestyle difference – and not those cheating allegations against the rapper! A source for ET explained:

“Kylie and Travis live different lifestyles and that’s been a big issue. With two kids, Kylie doesn’t go out too much. Travis on the other hand lives a life of late nights in the studio and going out with friends. The two love and respect each other and will continue to co-parent.”

However, the insider noted there still could be a chance they get back together, saying:

“The two have had an up and down relationship, and although they aren’t together right now, it doesn’t mean it’s over for good.”

Who knows! Perhaps, we will see Kylie and Travis rekindle their romance (again) later this year!

Shannon Beador & John Janssen

After nearly four years of dating, Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador and her boyfriend, John Janssen, split. She revealed the news to People in January that they broke up one week after filming for season 17 of the Bravo series ended in November. The reality star explained she was devastated by the split because it came out of the blue for her:

“All I can do is repeat in my head what he said to me while we were filming. We were in a great place. But seven days later, when the cameras were down, it was a completely different story. He told me he was done with the relationship. And to hear what he said to me then was absolutely devastating. I was hopeful this was the man I was going to spend the rest of my life with. I wanted it to work out. I’ve never loved anyone like I’ve loved John. But clearly, he didn’t feel the same way.”

Meanwhile, John told the outlet that it just “doesn’t make sense to be together if you don’t believe” in the relationship anymore:

Oasis singer Noel Gallagher and his wife, Sara MacDonald, split after 22 years of marriage. A representative for the Wonderwall artist confirmed the news to Us Weekly in January, saying:

“Noel and Sara will together continue to look after their children who remain their priority. Noel and Sara ask the media to respect their privacy and that of our family at this time.”

So sad, especially since they had been together for more than twenty years!

Drake Bell & Janet Von Schmeling

Multiple reports revealed in January that Drake Bell and Janet Von Schmeling separated after four years of marriage. According to People, the 28-year-old actress left the Nickelodeon star “a few months ago.” While Drake and Janet are done, an insider told the outlet that they’re dedicated to having an amicable co-parenting situation:

“Janet is devoted to raising their son. Drake and Janet are committed to maintaining a peaceful co-parenting relationship and giving their son the best life possible.”

While no reason for the split was given at the time, it came weeks after pictures and videos dropped of the 36-year-old singer seemingly inhaling balloons in his car in the parking lot of a California vape shop while his young son was in the backseat. An insider told Page Six that Janet simply “had enough” after the incident and moved to Florida with their child. Meanwhile, a source told People that Drake is currently seeking treatment for substance abuse at an outpatient program, adding:

“Drake needed to take time to get help and focus on his health.”

Janet officially filed for divorce in April — shortly after Drake was reported “missing and endangered” by police departments in Florida. The two reportedly had a “falling out” over their custody agreement, leading the singer to send some troubling messages to his brother. When Drake was reported as missing, police rushed to find him — but it turned out he just fell asleep without his phone nearby and was safe.

Days later, Janet decided to end their marriage and filed her divorce paperwork, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason. However, she apparently did not give him a heads-up about the official breakup! The Drake & Josh alum claimed he found out about the update to their relationship status via a TMZ post. Ouch! That is rough…

Ashley Darby & Luke Gulbranson

A Bravo crossover romance came to an end. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in January, Real Housewives of Potomac star Ashley Darby shared she and Summer House star Luke Gulbranson was over due to issues stemming from her divorce from estranged husband, Michael Darby:

“Luke and I are not romantically involved anymore.”

She explained her life is “very complicated” right now. While Luke was a “trooper” and going “through some things,” it just was not the right time for their relationship. As Bravo fans know, the pair began flirting with each other during BravoCon 2022 in October and then started a relationship soon afterward as they were spotted out together multiple times. They then became Instagram official days before Christmas.

Corinne Olympios & Jerry Morris

Bachelor alum Corinne Olympios is single again, as she and music manager Jerry Morris broke up in January. A source revealed to Entertainment Tonight that their sudden split all came down to “trust issues,” explaining:

“Corinne Olympios and Jerry Morris have broken up due to their busy careers and trust issues. The breakup happened rather suddenly and friends of the couple were surprised to hear the news.”

Despite the unexpected split, the insider noted that the Bachelor in Paradise star is “doing great and excited about her next chapter,” adding:

“Corinne and Jerry still want to try to remain on good terms. Their lives were just going in different directions.”

For those who don’t know, Corinne and Jerry began dating in June. A rep for the reality star told the outlet that she’s “really happy” with her former beau at the time:

“Corinne has been dating Jerry and she’s really happy. It’s a new relationship, in the beginning stages, but she’s really excited. He treats her amazing, and she’s optimistic, while enthusiastic to see how their relationship develops.”
