Celebrities Take To The Streets & Social Media In Solidarity With The March For Our Lives Protests
What a powerful day.
Hundreds of thousands of people joined the March For Our Lives protests across the country and around the world on Saturday. As you know, the students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School rallied together to create the #NeverAgain movement after a teenager stormed their school with an assault rifle and took the lives of 17 people in Parkland, Florida.
In effort to use their platform for good and for change, celebrities like Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, George Clooney, Ariana Grande, Amy Schumer, and so many more showed their support for gun reform IRL and social media.
Some took the stage (like Ariana), others joined protesters in the streets (like George and Amal), while other raised awareness online.
Here are the stars taking a stand for school and community safety (below)!!

Today I March for the students of Parkland and everywhere and I March for Mayci Breaux and Jillian Johnson. We need to digitize gun-sales records, mandate universal background checks, close gun-show loopholes and straw-man purchases, ban high-capacity magazines, and push for a comprehensive assault weapons ban with an extensive buyback system. Thank you Emma Gonzalez!. #notonemore #marchforourlivesA post shared by @ amyschumer on Mar 24, 2018 at 6:22am PDT

When it comes to protecting our children, all bets are off and the responsibility lies with us adults and lawmakers to listen and do. Very strong day. #MarchForOurLives pic.twitter.com/4gJ0QKdMYw
