Singer, diva…deli owner?! What CAN├óΓé¼ΓäóT Celine Dion do? The entertainer recently teamed up with hubby Rene Angelil to buy a famous Montreal sandwich shop.
Schwartz├óΓé¼Γäós, founded in 1928, has become a landmark for locals and tourists alike — not only for its amazing sandwiches, but for its timeless decor. Walking into the restaurant is like taking a step back in time and holds many memories for Celine and Rene.
Rene recalls:
“I have so many great memories of being there with the guys, and with Celine and our families throughout the years. It’s the most unique restaurant in the world and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.”
The deli duo have partnered with other businesses as well, including a chain of 1950s diners in Montreal. They hope to maintain the authenticity of the restaurants and only make necessary improvements.
