Cheryl Cole Being Courted To Judge UK Version Of The Voice!

Looks like Cheryl Cole might land on her feet after all!

Even though the pop star was humiliated by being fired from the judging panel of both the US and UK versions of The X Factor, it appears that she’s being courted from another reality competition – the upcoming British version of the insanely popular The Voice!

And according to reports, both ITV and BBC are in a serious bidding war over its rights!

A source explains:

‘The hype around The Voice is now so great that ITV feels it has no choice but to be in the running for it. If the BBC got it – and managed to sign Cheryl – then it could snare loads of viewers away from The X Factor.’

Oh man! We’re seriously hoping it works out!

And wouldn’t it just be BRUTAL if The Voice ended up killing X Factor in the ratings?!

We certainly imagine Chezza would be pleased!

Despite Simon Cowell‘s public explanation and apology on her behalf, sources close to her say she’s less than interested in patching up their friendship, and reveals:

“If Simon thinks he can claim it was a business arrangement that went wrong, he is insane. She wasn’t uncomfortable on the show. She was enjoying herself. No-one complained at the time. Simon admits he got his top producer Richard Holloway to tell her she was off the US show – that’s because he was afraid to do it himself. Cheryl trusted him implicitly and she doesn’t do that with many people. He made a mockery of their friendship so now it’s dead in the water.”

Can’t say we blame her, after everything she went through!

Karma certainly has a funny way of working things out, and we have a feeling that if The Voice catches on over there even a quarter of the way it did here, then the next season of The X Factor might be in a little trouble!

We’ll be very curious to see how this develops!

What do U think?? Should Chezza judge for The Voice??
