Holy Eywa is this amazing news or what!
In addition to the 812930481 three new Avatar films that are being made, director James Cameron has teamed up with Cirque du Soleil to create a live action show that will be presented in an arena!
We seriously hope the show has Na’vis connecting their braids while on the high trapeze, or soldiers in mech suits juggling Unobtanium while riding tricycles!
Meanwhile, James had these inspiring words to say about this new collaboration between himself and Cirque:
“Over the years, I have discovered the extraordinary talents and imaginations of both the artists and the creative forces behind Cirque du Soleil. I know we share the common goal of bringing audiences to another level of entertainment experiences. I look forward to doing just that on this project.”
We feel like we’re riding a banshee we’re so uplifted!
We can’t wait until late 2015 for this show to start dazzling audiences around Pandora…uh, we mean globe. Our globe, that is.
