Club Kids co-founder Michael Alig has been in jail for 17 years for the murder (ew) and dismemberment (double ew) of drug dealer Andre “Angel” Melendez back in March of 1996!
Michael aka “Party Monster” will soon be free to party, although it’s debatable whether he will or not, come May 5th! Woo, someone is going to enjoy their Cinco de Mayo!
But seriously, Michael has been eligible for parole since 2007, and now it has finally been granted.
Michael was big in the gay party scene back in the ’90s, so we’ll see how he matriculates back into society, and if his partying days are done.
