Coco's cute IG pics!
Every body is different!
In an interview with People Magazine, Coco Austin opened up about her small baby bump and how it caused her a lot of anxiety. Not only did fans suggest Austin hired a surrogate to carry little Chanel, but the model also experienced worry that was something was wrong with her pregnancy due to her barely there tummy.

It’s too bad the blonde didn’t consult Hilaria Baldwin and Sarah Stage during this time — they’re experts with tiny baby bumps!
Recalling her struggle to find body acceptance while pregnant, the blonde revealed:

“I didn’t really have a bump until the ninth month. I wanted the and I wanted to feel like I was pregnant. It was really pissing me off because everyone was like, ‘Oh you have a surrogate’ or something. I was just frustrated with everyone’s comments. It wasn’t like I was going to the gym doing crunches.”

Aww! It’s sad to hear C.A. endured such negativity during what should have been such a happy time in her life!
Luckily for Coco, her doctor was able to squash some of her fears by explaining that a small tummy is normal for some mommas:

“I thought, ‘Maybe there is something wrong with me’. So I went to the doctor every single week, asking her, ‘Are you sure I’m okay? Is my bump okay?’ My doctor said athletes always have a harder time getting a larger bump because their abs are tighter than normal.”

Makes sense to us. Considering the model was so fit prior to her pregnancy, it’s not hard to see why she wouldn’t majorly pop like some other moms!
Now that little Chanel has arrived, Ms. Austin is back to maintaining her toned physique. It also helps that the 37-year-old has her controversial pregnancy to give her perspective!
Check out the latest update from Coco’s fitness journey (below)!

Yesterday 4/5/16 marks the official day of starting on my gym grind. I stopped going pretty much a year ago when I got pregnant with Chanel. Well, 4 months after delivering her I have had no motivation because all I want to do is use my time to raise my baby and watch her grow.I don’t want to be separated from her at all..plus I can’t be too long cause I still breastfeed. So yesterday I took her to the gym with me and put her in childcare and worked out for 3 hours.. I took a spin and yoga class. (Yes my whole body is super sore today). I wanted to take a selfie afterward(seen here) to really see what I need to work on and surprising I liked what a saw.. I did eat really good through my pregnancy and now I can speak on it and say this is proof that with a decent diet and no gym your body can still stay somewhat together after a baby..I literally had a big bowl of mixed fruit everyday which I give credit to. I got a little skinny for my taste during pregnancy and want to build some muscle back and thankfully I have gained some weight back recently which I have gotten thicker naturally. More updates soon…. PS. A strong core (abs) are why I had a small baby bump and a fast labor..Thats key and very helpful for having a smooth pregnancy ..A photo posted by Coco (@coco) on Apr 8, 2016 at 11:19am PDT
