In a recent interview during the Toronto International Film Festival, the 26-year-old was asked about her I Saw The Light co-star, and she didn’t tread lightly.
She confessed:
“I mean, we definitely are friends and we’ve known each other for about four years. And we happened to be at a restaurant at a wrong time having dinner. We all go out to dinner.”
Gah! He’s been friend-zoned!!
Of course, if that wasn’t straight-forward enough, she also flat out answered if they were dating, saying:
“No. I mean people can think what they want to think.”
Cue the sound of hearts breaking.
But hey, Lizzie and Tom are both free to be single and live life! The actress also added:
“Well, apparently, I’m dating Chris Evans, and apparently, I’ve dated Jeremy Renner, so I guess that… I don’t react to it.”
Well, we’ll secretly be crossing our fingers that they end up together anyway. JK!
