And to no one’s surprise, the Room star is even MORE adorable in a full-length interview with Ellen DeGeneres!
On Tuesday’s Ellen, the 9-year-old opened up about meeting Leonardo DiCaprio at Saturday’s SAG Awards — and revealed that he was The Revenant star’s lucky charm for his Best Lead Actor win!

He explained:

“There was a line of people waiting to meet him and I thought, I’m a kid, I can skip it…I said good luck to him and he said good luck to me — and he won but I didn’t. So if you wanna win, you have to come up to me.”

Well, now we know what Leo has to do to get that Oscar! LOLz!
The actor also talked about his desire to become a screenwriter and director when he gets older, but refused to reveal any of his ideas for fear that someone might steal them — and YES, he gives names!
