Ewan McGregor‘s (soon to be ex) wife Eve Mavrakis has broken her silence.
As you surely know, the Moulin Rouge! actor and the production designer’s split was revealed in October 2017. At the time of the announcement, the twosome had been married for 22 years.

Their breakup made headlines just as the Star Wars alum was caught kissing his Fargo costar, Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Smh.
While speaking to The Sun on Sunday, Mavrakis admitted that the dissolution of her marriage has been “upsetting.” She shared:
“It’s disappointing and upsetting but my main concern is our four children are okay.”
Sadly Ewan and Eve’s kids haven’t taken the breakup well, as daughter Esther McGregor just penned a song DRAGGING the 46-year-old for leaving their family for another woman. Oof.
Ewan officially filed for divorce on January 19 and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for his and Eve’s split. Despite his daughter’s disdain, McGregor has requested for custody of his children — which include Clara (21), Jamyan (16), Esther (16), and Anouk (7).
Mavrakis has since filed her response, where she cited that she’d like sole custody with visitation for her ex. Legal filings state the pair’s official separation date was May 28, 2017.
Here’s hoping the divorce proceedings are swift and painless. *Sigh*
