A big congrats are in order for Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade, who have just welcomed their first child together via surrogate!
The actress took to Instagram on Thursday to share the splendid news, pairing the announcement with a few cute photos of the couple holding the newborn at the hospital.

The caption contained lyrics to the song Lovely Day by Bill Withers, along with a delightful message reading:
“We are sleepless and delirious but so excited to share that our miracle baby arrived last night via surrogate and 11/7 will forever be etched in our hearts as the most loveliest of all the lovely days. Welcome to the party sweet girl!”
The new addition comes after a frustrating few years for the couple as they struggled to conceive. In her 2017 book, Gabby revealed that she suffered over eight miscarriages in recent years as she and the Miami Heat star tried to have a child using IVF.
Their plight almost caused the actress to give up her dreams of having a baby altogether, until they decided to use a surrogate. This is the actresses first child and the athlete’s fourth. The pair have been dating since 2009 and tied the knot in 2014.
