This is is FANTASTIC!
Ennio Morricone just won the the Golden Globes for Best Original Score for his work on The Hateful Eight!
While Ennio wasn’t there to accept the award, Quentin Tarantino showed up and enthusiastically made everyone know how special it was for Morricone to win.
Part of what made the win so phenomenal as the fact that Morricone won it at the ripe old age of 87 years old!
Of course the competition was tough as the other nominees included Carter Burwell for Carol, Alexandre Desplat for The Danish Girl, Daniel Pemberton for Steve Jobs, and Ryuichi Sakamoto, Alva Noto, Bryce Dessner for The Revenant.
How do you feel about the win for Tarantino’s western?!
