Well, every Gossip Girl fan ever would want this potential relationship to be!
Former co-stars Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle, who portrayed the characters Lily van der Woodsen and Rufus Humphrey respectively, are the subject of some gossip themselves.
While the rumors that this former on-screen romance becoming real life have been circulating since last year, it looks like the entirety of the Internet has finally caught on now thanks to new pics and parades of affection on his Twitter account!
Could it be true? Well, despite conflicting reports that they’re just “good friends,” perhaps the heart HAS found a way?
The biggest evidence that many are using to fuel rumors? Well Matthew posted this special Valentine’s Day message to Kelly:
