Warner Bros. is in talks with Steven Spielberg and Amblin Entertainment to make a Gremlins re-boot!!!
YES! YES! YES!
It’s been 22 years, 7 months, and 3 days since the vastly underrated Gremlins 2: The New Batch graced theaters with its Hulk Hogan-infused presence, and the world hasn’t set eyes on a Mogwai since!
Sure, we’ve encountered our fair unfair share of unfounded speculation!
Stand next to the water cooler fridge with Diet Coke in any Hollywood office, and your ears are bound to ingest a few delicately wonderful rumors about a Gremlins re-boot — but that talk never leads anywhere!
This time, however, those careless whispers could actually come true!!
Of course, Stevie Sunshine wouldn’t direct the reboot/remake/sequel/amusement park ride — seriously, we fans will settle for anything — but he would serve as a producer!
If it helps, we promise to never eat past midnight ever again, LOLz!! But, no — REALLY!
