It Took Jenelle Evans 'Almost A Week' To Get Over David Eason Killing Her Dog

Jenelle Evans David Eason Marriage Dog Killing Incident

For everyone thinking this whole animal cruelty incident and ensuing custody battle would be a wakeup call for Jenelle Evans, well… no.
The Teen Mom 2 star once again disappointed all the fans who still have any modicum of hope left that she’ll one day leave the increasingly scary David Eason.
Just over two months ago, we were shocked at reports David had brutally killed one of the family dogs, a French bulldog named Nugget.

However, rather than deny the misdeed, the North Carolina native came out all defensively with a since deleted Instagram video showing the dog had snapped its tiny jaws at 2-year-old daughter Ensley‘s face — as if that proved the (maybe 10 lb max) pup was a dangerous animal which had to be put down.
Eason practically bragged about having protected his family, writing in the captions:

“I dont give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face. Whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I dont put up with that s**t at all. I’m all about protecting my family, it is my lifes mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me.”

No. Remorse. Whatsoever.
Word at the time was Jenelle was so shaken by the incident she temporarily left the house. She clarified her intentions to Us Weekly at the time, saying:

“David and I are not on talking terms. I’m too hurt and upset at the fact he did that. It’s taking time to get over this whole situation, and it’s making me feel he’s very cruel and doesn’t have a heart on many ends.”

Yeah, we got that impression, too!
She even said the marriage was “up in the air.”
So… how is that all going??
Oh yeah, she totally went right back to him.
And in a new IG story post, Jenelle makes perfectly clear just how much a lasting impact this has all had on their relationship.
Answering the fan question:

“Was it a hard decision to stay with David after the dog incident?”

She writes:

“Honestly yes, we were on bad terms for almost a week.”

Almost a week??

ALMOST A WEEK???

The man killed your little dog, and you got over it in time for the next Game Of Thrones episode?? She continues:

“Didn’t talk much. He knows how upset it made me.”

Yeah, you really communicated your outrage by leaving for almost a week.
Shockingly, despite the dog killing, despite child protective services agents saying the children were “terrified” of the man, despite temporarily losing custody of ALL her kids because of him, she says they’re better than ever!

“Now that we are getting over this incident our relationship has got a lot stronger. David has completed anger management as well.”

Wow. That is just so upsetting.
One day soon, we’ll have to report about the next violent incident. Maybe that will change things?
Hopefully it won’t be too late for a member of the family OH WAIT THAT ALREADY HAPPENED.
