J.Lo Raves About Recording One Of GaGa's Songs

Nice! Maybe this week, when she mentors on American Idol, the fiercest divas of pop music will get the chance to gab!

Jennifer Lopez has revealed the one of the songs off her upcoming album was actually co-written by Lady GaGa and that she was nothing but thrilled to get the chance to work with her – without ever really meeting her. She explains:

“I didn’t (get to meet her) and I wish I could have. RedOne, who collaborates with her on a lot of her music, worked with me on this album. He played me different ideas and different things and one of the ones that I responded to, actually a couple of them, he was like, ‘Just so you know, I worked with Lady Gaga writing those.’ And I was like, ‘Really? Is it OK if I do them and make them my own?’ and he was like, ‘Absolutely’. So I kind of lucked out.”

Suuuuuuuure did. Not too many people can say they are singing a Lady GaGa written song for realsies, other than the millions of folks who are, right now, drunkenly making their way through a karaoke version of Poker Face. LOLZ!

We kid, we kid. But Jennifer, we hope this song, Hypnotico, is RED HOT! We have super high hopes for it now. Maybe you and GaGa could perform it together some time, say, the Idol finale???
