The Situation & Fiancé Lauren Pesce Want To Get Married In Italy -- But Who From The Jersey Shore Cast Will Be Invited!?

Get your passports ready, because a Jersey Shore Family Destination Wedding could be in the near future!
They may have just gotten engaged a week ago, but Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and fianc├â┬⌐ Lauren Pesce are wasting no time preparing for the big day.

While no dates are confirmed for their upcoming nuptials, Pesce said the two are “definitely not looking for a long engagement” — and their wedding could very well unfold during next season of Jersey Shore!
Stich explained the outlet People:

“I would have to say in the next couple of months, we’re planning to do the wedding along with season 2 ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ God willing. We’re actually in the planning stages now.”

Sounds like a dream situation! Only one big hurdle still stands in their way: Sorrentino’s June 20 sentencing for pleading guilty to tax evasion.
The MTV star faces up to five years in prison, but the couple is instead focusing on planning their dream destination wedding — which they envision to be in “the motherland” Italy, naturally.
Pesce explained:

“Mike and I have always, always wanted to do a destination wedding with our close family and friends. Our dream was always to go to the motherland and get married in Italy and have it be an experience with the people closest to us ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ our immediate family, his closest friends from the cast.”

Only some of the cast? That won’t be awkward or anything…

“But now that we’re getting down to actually planning it, I think we’re going to try to do the best of both worlds and hopefully we’ll be able to that with family and friends, and then we’ll be able to have a big reception and celebration in New Jersey ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ you know, Italian-American style, with the whole family and every acquaintance to celebrate.”

Every acquaintance? Even Angelina!???
No matter who winds up on the invite list, the big day couldn’t come sooner for the couple, who met in college in 2004 and dated for about four years. Sorrentino and Pesce split before the original run of Jersey Shore premiered in 2009, then reconciled after the series wrapped in 2012 and have been together for over four years!

Pesce said she is thrilled that viewers get to see “this version of Michael,” the one she fell in love with before his MTV days, on Jersey Shore Family Vacation, gushing:

“When I met Mike, I met him as a person and not as a celebrity. So I’ve always known him at his core ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ him being the most giving and loving family-type of guy in his soul. And through any kind of ups and downs, any kind of darkness that he went through, I always knew that person inside was so important and worth fighting for. I always wanted him to see how special he is so that he would be willing to fight for himself.”

That’s amor├â┬⌐!
