This Is How The Oscars Were Supposed To End!

It’s hard to imagine the Oscars without its jaw-dropping ending!
As you know, La La Land was mistakenly announced as the winner of the Best Picture award when it was really Moonlight that won! The shocking moment led to an awkward series of events, with even Jimmy Kimmel cutting in to smooth everything over.

Sadly, this meant the comedian couldn’t close the show with another joke aimed at his frenemy Matt Damon. A source spilled to Us Weekly:

“Jimmy had to go in and save everything at the end. Everyone was so shocked, there was no anger, it was more like: ├óΓé¼╦£Oh my God, this is crazy.’ If you look at the picture where everybody saw the wrong tape, you’ll see Jimmy Kimmel next to Matt Damon. Jimmy had a whole bit that got nixed obviously because of the Best Picture mix-up ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ he was going to do a whole thing with Matt Damon asking him what it’s like to be a loser. It was the perfect end to the night, but then obviously once the whole envelope thing happened, it got scrapped.”

Well we loved the drama!! It was insane!
The show insider also added that following the on-stage blunder, there wasn’t really any talk between the involved parties, admitting:

“There wasn’t really any talk about it backstage between Warren Beatty, Faye Dunaway and the La La Land and Moonlight teams. Everybody was just ushered off so quickly.”

Wow. They must have all been in shock!
