Josh Hutcherson Would Like To Be Your Next Spider-Man! But Is It Still Possible??

Is Josh Hutcherson still in the running (swinging?) for Spider-Man??
The Hunger Games star was one of the final contenders for the role the last time it was rebooted five years ago.

We even saw his adorable audition tape!
But is a J-Hutch Spidey still a possibility?
Previous fan fave Donald Glover said he wouldn’t be campaigning for the part again, but is Josh still interested? He revealed:

“Yeah, of course I’d think about doing it: It’s Spider-Man, that’d be really cool. There’s not been any conversations about that, but who knows what would happen?”

No conversations at this point isn’t a great sign. We already know Marvel and Sony are going to get Spidey going soon in Captain America: Civil War.
And there are rumors he could make a cameo as early as this year’s Avengers: Age Of Ultron!

The first poster for the upcoming sequel had a portentous tidbit — composer Danny Elfman was credited with “Additional Music.”
Seeing as he wrote the Spider-Man theme for Sam Raimi‘s trilogy, this could mean a reprise!
We’ll just have to wait and see!
