Although Kaitlynn Carter and Brody Jenner are no longer together, they’re still making headlines and raising eyebrows amid rumors of their past polyamorous relationship.
On Monday night’s episode of The Hills: New Beginnings, Whitney Port and Ashley Wahler shared their honest opinions on all the salacious tea surrounding their formerly coupled up costars!

As we told you, the pair’s old romance has become quite the topic of discussion amongst stars on the MTV reboot. The show’s timeline is a bit behind real life obviously; as you know, Brody is currently dating model Josie Canseco and Kaitlynn has since moved on from their split with new lady love Miley Cyrus.
But back when things were all good, reality TV villain Stephanie Pratt was reportedly pushing the idea around that Jenner and Carter were involved in a polyamorous romance.
The gossip spread like wildfire among Kaitlynn’s circle of friends, prompting her to address the speculation head-on. In a teaser for the latest episode, the 30-year-old starlet offered:
“When Brody and I were first together we were young, we were crazy, we were basically just trying to have the time of our lives. So we did a lot of things in our relationship that I certainly wouldn’t say I regret. But the level of gossip that I feel happens in the group, it just makes me angry.”
They may have been upset about word getting around, but they weren’t exactly denying it.
While on FaceTime with a friend who brought Pratt’s moves to his attention, Brody deflected:
“That’s none of her business. You know, we just, we like what we like.”
Yeah. So not a denial.
So how did everyone react to the news?
Well, Whitney took the sympathetic approach and agreed people should mind their own business, saying:
“I think that Brody and Kaitlynn’s relationship is their business. How they want to portray it to everybody else should be on their terms. Passing judgment on it, I think, is immature.”
Meanwhile, Ashley had a more brutally honest response to the drama, adding:
“Seriously, Brody’s actually the one that said they had an open relationship on a national podcast. Does she really think people aren’t going to gossip about that? Of course people are talking about it!”
The woman has a point!
A story as juicy as this one was certainly bound the make the rounds! Especially since Brody and Kaitlynn were close friends with Miley and Liam Hemsworth — and suddenly one member of each couple are hooking up. That was bound to get people speculating…
