Kate Middleton Is Bringing Her Royal Baby Bump To Downton Abbey!

In what may go down in history as the most British news of all time, Kate Middleton is coming to Downton Abbey!
No, she isn’t going to guest star — although “the Duchess of Cambridge” does sound like a great foil to the Dowager Countess, now that we think of it.

According to a statement released by the palace on Thursday, the real-life Princess will be visiting Ealing Studios where the hit show is filmed “to celebrate the success of the award-winning production.”
Kate will tour the sets, meet the stars, pose for photographs, and even watch a scene being filmed!
But for Kate this isn’t just another public appearance.

We have it on good authority that Kate is a fan of the show — and not just because she totally sounds like a Downton character!
That authority?
Michelle Dockery, who plays Lady Mary Crawley on the show, is a lifelong pal of Kate’s little sis Pippa Middleton!
We can’t wait to see Kate in one of those photos in front of the estate!
