Kate Middleton & Prince William Will Give Prince George A Traditional Christening

Here’s one custom they’ll be sticking to!

It’s well known that Kate Middleton is a fairly modern lady, and that Prince William is modern, but likes his traditions.

So, when it comes to baptizing Prince George, they’ll do it the old fashioned way.

This means about a month after the baby’s birth, 60 people will gather for the Archbishop of Canterbury to bless the child with holy water from the River Jordan at the Lily Font.

The Prince of Cambridge will be all wrapped up in a replica lace-and-silk robe that was designed for King Edward VII in 1841. The original was replaced in 2008 because after over a century of use it had gotten old.

Queen Elizabeth will look on while the godparents all get around the happy family.

There’s no official word on who the godparents will be, but many people think Prince Harry and Pippa Middleton will be given that honor.

Then 16 choristers from the Chapel Royal will sing to the little guy!

Finally, everyone will dig into some two-year-old wedding cake! It’s the top tier of the couple’s cake from their nuptials, which has been frozen.

Hmm… Why not just spring for some fresh baked treats? LOLz!

The real question now is what will Kate wear?!?
