As long as Tommy Hilfiger gets his way, it doesn’t sound like Kate Upton will be missing too much modeling time over the next nine months!
Justin Verlander‘s beautiful wife announced yesterday that she was pregnant, of course, and while that’ll certainly slow her down at least a little bit in the modeling world, Hilfiger has a message for Upton: you’re still welcome here!!

According to reports out on TMZ this morning, Hilfiger relayed a message to Upton asking her to consider modeling even through her pregnancy, and reportedly giving her an “open invitation” to do so (below):
“Our business is all about inclusiveness and diversity, and not just about 90 pound models.”
Aww!
It’s especially notable, because so many in the industry don’t think like Hilfiger…
Regardless, it appears he’s dead-set on wanting her to show off her baby bump glow and the inevitable curves that come with it.

Is Kate up for it?? Only time will tell, but considering she personally honored Tommy on HBO‘s Night of Too Many Stars late last year for his work on behalf of those with autism, perhaps she’ll consider it especially for him!
