Kate Upton's Response To That Scorching Victoria's Secret Burn Will Shed A Light On The Heart Behind The Boobs!

Kate Upton discusses fame, haters, and more in a revealing interview with V magazine!
Kate Upton was catapulted to instant fame back in 2012 when her first Sports Illustrated cover hit magazine stands, and her success has only multiplied since then!
She recently opened up about what her life has been like since that day to V magazine, and the 21-year-old has taken away a lot of interesting insights from her few years in the spotlight.
Miz Upton says she’s participated in so many photo shoots at this point that she’s a compulsive poser, explaining:

“I now suffer from Catalog Tourette’s. I can switch a pose like it’s no one’s business. As soon as I hear a camera click, I’m on. I tell you, it’s a serious nervous condition.”

Hmm, we smell a scent of controversy in that statement, but that’s of course nothing new to this superstar model.
With all the competition and pressure to fit a certain mold in the modeling world, Kate is able to stand by her own voluptuous curves and keep doing her thing more successfully than ever!
So how does she do it? The model says:

“I don’t compare myself with other models. For me, modeling is really about competing with yourself, becoming the best you can be. The truth is that I can’t do facial expressions like [Coco Rocha] and others do. If I pull a goofy face, it doesn’t look cute; I look like a dying animal. But I guess someone likes what I am doing.”

You mean LOTS of people LOVE what you’re doing, LOLz!!
But being in the spotlight also means a fair share of haters, like Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show director Sophia Neophitou who SLAMMED the model with an epic diss as soon as her SI cover came out.
Sophia said that Kate looked like nothing more than a footballer’s wife (with a face that one could buy, i.e. not special) — which later prompted Kate to say Sophia was basically comparing her to Gisele Bundchen, since Gisele is literally a footballer├óΓé¼Γäós wife. Ha!!
But today Kate just sees that instance as a lesson, and delves:

“You have to remember that I was 19 when she said that, and I had just gotten my cover of Sports Illustrated that day. Literally that day. So it didn’t really affect me at first. But it did in the end, because I wasn’t used to that kind of media swirl at all. I had never met her, so it really came out of nowhere. It was my introduction to being in the spotlight and having people you’ve never met have an opinion of you.”

As they say, haters gonna hate. Besides, that’s how you know you’ve REALLY made it, right??
Keep doing you, Kate Upton!
