Sounds like Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise have been receiving a nice, warm welcome into their new NYC neighborhood!
Ever since filing for divorce from Tom, Katie and Suri have been staying in their Chelsea apartment on the east coast, far, far away from Tommy boy!
A resident of Katie and Suri’s apartment building spilled:
“Katie and Suri have been very friendly to everyone they see in the building. But they mostly keep to themselves.”
The neighbor went on to say how they├óΓé¼Γäóve also been spending playtime in the kids’ play room of the building!
The resident revealed:
“Suri was there playing. Katie was with her and they were very sweet to the other people in the room. There were a few other kids there and Suri quietly played with them. She seemed like a nice little girl and the other kids looked like they were having fun with her.”
Awww…glad to hear that Katie isn├óΓé¼Γäót keeping Suri in complete seclusion or anything! Though, we DO know from their recent ice cream date that Katie hasn├óΓé¼Γäót become a recluse! Ha!
Ironically enough, Tom Cruise’s other ex-lover, Penelope Cruz, also once resided in the same apartment building!
Despite Katie and Suri’s big move-in, it sounds like the building’s staff has got things well under control and have stepped up security.
A source said that the mother-daughter duo have also been pretty low key, in consideration of the other tenants in the building!
We’ll see how long Suri remains in the Big Apple for, though, with Tom trying to get granted temporary visitation rights and all!
