Shut the front door.
While we’re not necessarily the biggest country fans in the world, we have to give those crooners some credit when it comes to branching out towards the mainstream.
That’s because it was announced on Monday that Katy Perry and Dolly Parton will be performing a duet at the Academy of Country Music Awards this year!

Apparently, Dolly’s Coat of Many Colors TV movie has already been selected to receive the coveted Tex Ritter Award, so she’ll be taking the stage with KP to celebrate.
This is the 70-year-old music legend and 31-year-old pop star’s first time singing together live, so we’re looking forward to seeing what they come up with.
Katy and Dolly join previously announced performers like Cam, Carrie Underwood, Kelsea Ballerini, Sam Hunt, and many more, so it’s going to be a night of must-watch TV!
Make sure to catch the 51st Annual Academy of Country Music Awards hosted by Dierks Bentley and Luke Bryan on Sunday, April 3 at 8 p.m. EST on CBS!
