On Friday, it was revealed that Legally Blonde alum Oz Perkins is splitting from his wife Sidney after 16 years of marriage. How sad!

According to TMZ, the 42-year-old just filed for divorce and has asked the court, in a petition, to delay their decision about spousal support. Does this mean the former flames are about to get into a messy split? We hope not since the twosome are also parents to their young kiddos. Not to mention, it’s said Oz has asked for joint custody of his children.
On top of it all, the duo’s separation date has been listed as TBD… HUH? Apparently, the date selected would be when the estranged couple would stop sharing their assets — so we can only imagine Oz and Sidney’s lawyers are still locking down those specifics.
Aside from being known as the dude who got b*tch slapped by Reese Witherspoon, Oz is also the son of late actor Anthony Perkins. The more you know!
While we’re saddened to see these longtime loves call it quits, we hope this divorce brings them both nothing but happiness.
