What a knock-down, drag-out fight! Minus all the knock-downs and drag-outs…whatever the heck they are!
Lena Dunham took to Twitter to throw one Shia LaBeouf some serious tweet shade after the former Autobot bestie apologized via skywriting to writer Daniel Clowes for plagiarizing his work:
I've always felt, utterly and unchangeably, that only sociopaths hire skywriters.

#whoa! #glovesareoff! Shia responded to this with a familiar apology, at least to Lena fans:
I don't mind creating debate with thoroughly considered artistic expressions but I don't want to offend with a tweet. Sorry world.
— Shia LaBeouf (@thecampaignbook) January 4, 2014
Of course, the above apology was actually plagiarized from Lena herself!
Shia went on to say that he was addicted to “lean,” which we hope means Lena, and not some sort of new contraband that makes people reuse other people’s written words:
Im addicted to lean & that shit ain’t no joke. I can barely remember all the things I’ve done & said. However there’s no excuse 4 skywriting
— Shia LaBeouf (@thecampaignbook) January 4, 2014
Lena then seemed to bury the Twitter hatchet with Shia:
Vaguely recognized Shia Labeouf's latest twitter apology and realized it was MINE! Touché, Louis Stevens.

Projecting a lot of rage against my 7th grade boyfriend on LaBeouf. Think this is the start of something really productive #2014

If all Twitter feuds are this entertaining, then yes, Lena, it will be a mightily productive 2014!
All in all, we hope Shia outgrows this phase of plagiarizing different apologies as a means of apologizing for plagiarism!
Maximus Prime would probably not approve, after all.
