In a recent Reddit AMA, pop princess Lily Allen spoke about her brother Alfie Allen‘s role as Theon Greyjoy on the wildly popular Game of Thrones.
What started of as an amusing family anecdote, however, quickly devolved into an absolute nightmare!
Apparently the suits behind the HBO show once asked Lily to star as Theon’s sister! Aww! Real life siblings playing fake siblings on TV! Sounds cute, right??
NOT EVEN A LITTLE BIT.
When the Smile singer read the script, she realized her scenes with Alfie called for the two of them getting hot and heavy! They were basically asking her to participate in televised incest!!!
Lily confessed:
“…They asked me if I’d be interested in playing Theon’s sister, and I felt uncomfortable because I would have had to go on a horse and he would have touched me up and shit. Once they told me what was entailed, I said ‘no thanks.’ I would be open to doing a musical cameo like Sigur Ros, though.”
What in the name of EWWWW??? GoT mercifully wound up casting an unrelated actress and, sure enough, she shoves her hand down Alfie’s pants in like their first scene together!!!
Ugh!! How could they even ask Lily to do something so nasty!!!
Look, we know it’s cable TV. We get it.
From the stomach-churning Red Wedding that killed off like 70% of your favorite characters to a regal wake earlier this year that featured a dude raping his grieving sister a few feet away from their dead incest baby, they’ve pushed boundaries before.
GoT enjoys shocking its audience, but those are just fictional characters reading scripts! Now we’re talking about real life siblings hooking up!!!
We’re sooo glad Lily didn’t accept this shudder-worthy spot on Game of Thrones Throw Up in Your Mouths! We’re not sure we would’ve been able to cope!
