It’s been a very tough few months for Lindsay Lohan, and whether it’s a hand injury, a particularly damning set of pictures, or an ugly breakup, she’s been in the news quite a bit.
Now, she’s back — and this time around, things once again look financially bleak for the former child star as she fights to stay above water with her money!!

The 30-year-old Mean Girls star is facing down the possibility of having to declare bankruptcy after she allegedly failed to pay rent on 3.5-million British pound London home (worth about $4.2 million US).
This week, lawyers from Child & Child delivered a letter to Lohan seeking her to pay up on unpaid rent from the past six months of the year at her home in London’s exclusive Knightsbridge area.
The letter also informed LiLo that should she not pay immediately, the firm will petition at court for her bankruptcy on November 8.
She allegedly owes nearly $100,000 in back rent.
Yikes!!!
A friend of her ex, Egor Tarabasov, told DailyMail.com that LiLo’s financial situation is dire right now, saying:
“Lindsay is in an absolute mess. She has blown virtually all her money, and has basically resigned herself to being declared bankrupt… The whole situation is incredibly tragic, and for Lindsay this is an astonishing fall from grace.”
That is NOT good… and speaking of Tarabasov, Lohan may have some unfinished business with him here, too.

The 23-year-old Russian property mogul is alleging that Miz Lohan took about $30,000 worth of his stuff, including jewelry, and he’s apparently spoken to police and demanded she be arrested for theft!!
Tarabasov sent to his lawyers a list of all the things LiLo allegedly took, in the hopes of someday recovering the valuables, but as the friend puts it, there is one specific thing on Egor’s mind here:
“The thing he really wants back and which, ironically, is of very little monetary value, is a small gold Russian orthodox cross which was given to him by his dead godfather.”
Wow.
This is not at all good for LiLo — but again, we’ve seen this play out for her before.
Drama, drama, drama!!
