Logan Paul has made his return to YouTube.
After sparking controversy earlier this month with his (now infamous) vlog from Japan’s Suicide Forest, the internet celebrity has uploaded his first video since apologizing for the insensitive post. In case you forgot, the 22-year-old faced an immense amount of backlash after sharing footage of an apparent suicide victim.

Well, it appears that Logan is trying to prove that he’s learned something from all of this, as his latest upload is a feature all about suicide education and prevention. The video, titled Suicide: Be Here Tomorrow, follows Paul as he speaks with suicide survivor Kevin Hines, Alo House Recovery Center’s Bob Forrest, and Dr. John Draper.
On why he’s embarked on this particular project, Logan explained:
“I know I’ve made mistakes, I know I’ve let people down. It’s time to learn from the past as I get better and grow as a human being… I’m here to have a hard conversation, so those who are suffering can have easier ones.”
In the video, Logan admitted that his social media snafu occurred largely because of his “ignorance on the subject.” Specifically, he had never known someone who had taken their own life. Draper, who is the Suicide Prevention Lifeline director, informed the controversial 20-something:
“We have to change the conversation publicly from just focusing on suicide and how something bad is happening, and say ├óΓé¼╦£What do we do about it?'”
Well said. Paul made sure to include five steps to help prevent suicide — which are ask, listen, be there, help connect, and check in. Be sure to watch Logan’s attempt at redemption for yourself (below).
