So sad…
Losing a beloved pooch is always hard, especially if you’ve done everything you could to protect them.
Model Maggie Rizer, creator of the dog blog, beamakesthree.com, has lost one of her own.
The model took every precaution to sure her golden retriever, Bea, would be safe on a plane ride from NYC to San Fran.
However, when she landed, she found out that Bea was gone.
She recounted that United Airlines did not have any reasoning as to why Bea had died. Golden retrievers don’t usually experience any difficulties on planes but Bea suffered from heatstroke in a “temperature-controlled space.”
Rizer wanted to file a lawsuit but she hopes reaching out will inform owners on the risks of traveling with pets.
She says the following:
“I’ll miss her loving soul. She was one of a kind. I’ve never had a dog like her.”
You can’t replace a dog, especially one like that.
R.I.P. Bea…
