We can’t blame her for being skeptical.
Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell and her mother, Mama June, haven’t been on good terms since the news broke that June was dating Mark McDaniel. In case you are behind on this story, McDaniel molested Chickadee when she was eight years old, and June didn’t believe her daughter when she told her mother.
Fast forward to now, Chickadee and June met last week, and have been texting and calling each other, trying to repair their relationship.

Reportedly, June has apologized for dating McDaniel recently, and assures her daughter that they are completely done.
But Chickadee is slow to believe her mom. The good news is that June respects that and understands it will take time to win back her daughter’s trust again.
It’s just good to hear they’re trying to start 2015 off on a good foot though.
