Mama June‘s family is stepping up to support her in a desperate time of need.
Family members of the Mama June: From Not to Hot star reportedly staged an intervention for Honey Boo Boo‘s momma earlier this month, with the help of a professional outside mediator.
According to a first look at the taped intervention (coming to WEtv soon) obtained by TMZ, June was confronted by family after they noticed that her teeth had begun to fall out — indicating a serious decline in the matriarch’s health.

The intervention group called upon psychiatrist and TV personality Dr. Ish Major to help talk some sense into June. The star’s inner circle says she’s been a shell of herself since getting arrested for crack cocaine possession in March.
As we reported, sources say that Honey Boo Boo (real name Alana Thomspon) has been living with her big sis Pumpkin (real name Lauryn Shannon) for several months while their mother is reportedly shacking up with her boyfriend Geno Doak at an Alabama casino.
The unfortunate change in parenting has become a source of frustration for HBB. In the upcoming televised conversation, Alana breaks down crying and pleads with June to move their family back home together for good.
