Martina Navratilova is a 59-time Grand Slam winning tennis legend (as well as a former DWTS competitor) and now is on her way to becoming a married woman!
The retired pro athlete just popped the question to her longtime girlfriend Julia Lemigova, a former Miss Universe contestant.
Martina was at the U.S. Open, commentating, and at one point was interviewed by the Tennis Channel. During the interview, once everyone was watching her, she dropped to one knee and gave Lemigova a diamond ring.
That's when Lemigova said "yes!"
Then they popped champagne and toasted as the huge crowd cheered them on.
Martina said:
"I was very nervous. It came off. She said yes. It was kind of an out-of-body experience. You've seen people propose at sporting events before, in movies, in real life. Here it was happening to me. It was like I was watching myself do it."
That must've been so surreal for both of them!
We're so glad Lemigova said yes!
