What in the hell is going on behind the scenes over at TODAY??
The NBC morning show scored a major coup when they sniped Megyn Kelly away from FOX News a few weeks ago, but the move didn’t come without controversy when the network chose to get rid of successful (and black) co-hosts Tamron Hall and Al Roker so that Kelly could take their place.
Hall and Roker got the swift boot in a VERY abrupt way — with Hall walking out on $2 million per year amid accusations NBC has been whitewashing their daytime TV shows!

And then there’s the fact that Kelly didn’t entirely take their place because she’s now being eyed for the top spot on TODAY — a position that’s currently held by Savannah Guthrie??
But wait — now there’s even MORE with this situation!!
Kelly is apparently now NOT being eyed for Savannah Guthrie’s top spot on TODAY… and reports state that Megyn may not even be on the show At. All.
WHAT. THE. FUCK.
According to a report in the Daily Mail, Kelly is now being eyed to take the 10:00 a.m. slot on NBC, but it apparently would NOT be a TODAY hour at all — and they’d re-brand the entire hour to give her an entirely new show there, instead.
What? Why??

This type of move has been speculated upon the last few weeks, but now it appears there is something more to it; the report states that it would seem Guthrie keeps her chair in the 7:00 a.m. hour, while Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb would likely move to 9:00 a.m., with the current final hour canceled entirely so Megyn (and her NEW show) can take its place.
Uh… ok, NBC. Y’all doing OK over there, or should we send, like, a business manager who can better handle your people and hours?
