Melanie C just hammered the final nail in the Spice Girls‘ coffin — but it sounds pretty damn good!
The singer already made it clear she would not be partaking in the 20th anniversary reunion of the ‘90s girl group, leaving us with the trio GEM (Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, Mel B) as a result.
Though some fans held onto a sliver of hope that she would change her mind and belt out Wannabe one more time, we think it’s safe to say that the sun has set on Sporty Spice. (For now!)

But that’s not all bad news, because the 42-year-old just released a new club BANGER Anymore — and it will definitely spice up your life to a degree.
Unlike Victoria Beckham, at least Mel C’s absence from the Spice Girls still results in new music! Anymore can be found on the upcoming album Version of Me out October 21!
