When it comes to physical comedy, Melissa McCarthy is a P-R-O!!!
But while filming her upcoming movie, The Heat, Melissa came pretty close to breaking a co-star’s nose!
No, not Sandra Bullock‘s! Thank GOD!
During a scene that involved McCarthy throwing a phone book at actor Michael McDonald‘s face, Melissa chucked it a little too hard and hit him square on the schnoz! Michael said:
“When we rehearsed it, [Melissa] was six feet away, but when we shot it, she was like, two feet away. So she threw it and it was like, ‘Boom!’ It came so hard and so fast. I could have sworn my nose was broken!”
OUCH!!!
Melissa ran over to Michael before anyone could even yell cut. But on her way, she SLIPPED on the phone book and hit the ground herself!
LOLz! We’re sorry, but that’s HIGHlarious!
Both actors laughed off their injuries and are doing fine.
If those are the behind-the-scenes, imagine how funny the actual flick is going to be!
