M.I.A.├óΓé¼Γäós got beef with…Anderson Cooper???
Looks like a bit of a Twitter battle started up yesterday between the two completely opposite celebs!
M.I.A. tweeted:
@AndersonCooper called me a terrorist for speaking out , and expressed support for the SLgov when this was happening
Anderson, clearly confused, bluntly responded:
@miauniverse, you are mistaken. I never called you a terrorist. I don’t even know who you are other than the lady who sang at superbowl.
OUCHHHH!!
Fighting words!
Anderson went on to claim that he had NO idea what she was talking about and said how he even defended her Superbowl flip-off!
M.I.A. then elaborated, tweeting that Cooper recently linked to an article back in 2009 which contained false info about her.
Anderson tweeted about the confusion:
@miauniverse I can understand your frustration if someone wrote untrue things about you, and I’m glad you were able to respond.
The Sri Lankan singer had the last word, tweeting:
@andersoncooper im glad u understand but please watch #killingfields because this is what i was trying to say.
…Um. Then maybe you should have said it, gurl!!
Killing Fields is an investigative doc about the Sri Lankan civil war, M.I.A.’s home country.
Anderson has yet to respond back after her previous tweet.
Talk about a misunderstanding!!!
