Schwarzy‘s mistress, Mildred Baena, has opened up to the news about what it was like when Maria found out for sure that Joseph Baena is Arnold’s son — and her reaction may surprise you.
There was no outburst of anger, no throwing people out, and no firing.
Instead, there was compassion. She says:
“Last summer, I brought Joseph over to the house. Until then, he hadn’t been around very much,” says Baena. “After that, people in the house started whispering about how much they looked like each other.
“Maria would ask if I needed to talk to her, and I kept saying no. Finally, she asked point blank. Maria asked me directly if Joseph was Arnold’s son, and I just broke down. I dropped to my knees and I was crying, saying that yes he was and I was so sorry.
“She cried with me and told me to get off my knees. Since I was retiring soon, I said I would pack and leave right away, but she said to stay until after the holidays.”
And that, guys, is how you handle a super tough situation with class and dignity. We can’t even imagine what it must have felt like to get that news, to finally have it all verified.
It would be crushing.
Yet, Maria took what she could in stride, and decided to let her stay on until after the holidays! Incredible. Arnold does not deserve such a woman, we’re not afraid to say it.
