This is so intense.
On Wednesday, Nick Gordon opened up about his late love Bobbi Kristina‘s tragic drowning which led to her eventual death months later. How sad!
As you may know, back in January 2015, the R&B scion was found face down and unresponsive in the bathtub — which is eerily similar to the same way her mother Whitney Houston died. In a sit down with DailyMail, Nick emotionally talked about what exactly went down the hours before B.K.’s passing and about their drug use as a couple.

He shared:
“I blame myself for not getting to Krissy quick enough that day. I can’t blame myself for another addict’s addiction but I feel like I failed her. She didn’t make it. I wish she got help. I wish she got my spot [in rehab]. I did not protect her the way that I was supposed to ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ even if it was from herself.”
In case you forgot, Nick sought treatment after Dr. Phil held an intervention for him last year. The late celebutante’s fianc├â┬⌐ is slated to appear on the celebrity doctor’s show again this Thursday and Friday.
In addition to his addiction problems, Nick has been under intense scrutiny for his actions surrounding Krissy’s tragic accident. While the police cannot determine another person was involved in causing Bobbi’s death, her father Bobby Brown is convinced that Nick is to blame for her demise. Gordon has since called this lawsuit “bullsh*t”.
In regards to the hours leading up to Miz Brown’s death, Nick explained:
“I went out with a couple of buddies of mine earlier that day and we were out having a good time. Krissy thought I was with some other females and that’s when she got upset. She called and said I had to come home. I saw a couple of bottles of wine. I thought she had just been drinking, maybe smoked a little. She was upset, we got into a little argument and then we made up and went upstairs and lay on the bed for about 45 minutes and did what adults do.”
House guest Danyela Bradley claims she witnessed Nick physically assault Bobbi during a fight after he came home at four a.m. and that Nick then came into her room after the altercation and attempted to hit on her. Gordon has since labeled this memory as only “half true”.

Hmm, very inneresting. He continued:
“I went downstairs to go and play PS4 real quick and she [Bobbi Kristina] got up and was doing her own thing. She was getting up and getting dressed.”
However, it was around 10 a.m. when tragedy struck. Nick elaborated:
“The Xfinity [cable] guy came and had to do a bunch of stuff in the house and I had my friend Max [Lomas] walk round with him because he had to change all the boxes and I wanted to make sure he’s not stealing anything or taking pictures. So he [Max] walked him into my room to show him the box in there.
He knocked on the door and didn’t hear a call from Krissy. He knocked on the bathroom and still didn’t hear a call from Krissy and that’s when he found her in the bathtub. Then he calls my name. I’m sorry this is hard. I knew instantly something was wrong. You know there’s a tone; you can hear it in someone’s voice. I ran to my room and then I saw my girl on the floor. It was so traumatizing. I dropped to my knees and kept giving her chest compressions and blowing into her mouth.”
When Bobbi spit up water, her boyfriend had hope that perhaps she would survive the incident — tragically that was not the case.
The Brown/Houston family might blame Nick for Krissy’s drug addiction, but the controversial celeb has hinted that is was the How Will I Know singer’s death that caused B.K.’s drug use to get out of control. Not to mention, Bobbi also struggled with a history of depression and cutting and was in a “decline” prior to her death.
Nick added:
“We had a couple of miscarriages. We would have loved to have a kid but we weren’t planning on it yet and she was just such a young fragile person it took a toll on her.”
Still, the late aspiring singer had dreams of getting sober and having kids. While Nick says he is clean, he’s also revealed that he can’t “move on from Krissy.” Oof.
Nonetheless, he defended:
“I didn’t bring drugs into the house for them. That was for me, and [Whitney and Krissy] got their own stuff, but we let each other down. It’s not just me. I’m just the only one here able to tell the story.”
Heavy stuff.
We can only imagine what Bobbi Kristina’s family will think about his interview, but our thoughts remain with all those mourning the young starlet’s passing.
