Nicole Kidman Talks About Her Father's Passing And How Keith Urban Has Been So Amazing For Her Through It All

Everyone needs someone to lean on sometimes.
Nicole Kidman suffered a tremendous loss recently when her father, Dr. Antony Kidman, died very unexpectedly in Singapore last month.

The beautiful lady hasn’t talked too much about this sad chapter of her life, but did just that recently on the Today show — and she attributes her husband, Keith Urban, as being the main reason why she’s doing OK these days.
Here’s what she said:

“I lost my father, which is a devastating thing for my family and myself right now. I do both probably, that would be me right now. I’m lucky to have a rock of a husband and a strong faith. I have both those things.”

And Nicole sees a lot of similar qualities in Keith and her late father!
She said:

“Keith and my dad — good men. Choosing to protect his family and take care of himself, but take care of his daughters, and walk the walk, if that makes sense, not just talk the talk.”

It’s awesome that Nicole has someone like Keith to help her through her grieving process.
It’s never easy to lose anyone, and especially when it’s so unexpected… it can be a tremendous trek to get through such a thing.
But Keith IS there for her! And it seems like Nicole definitely knows it, and appreciates it!
