Although Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder are exes, the actress reveals she has nothing but love for her former beau and his new wife!
In fact, the 26-year-old is looking to set the record straight on their breakup and what she REALLY thinks about Ian and Nikki Reed‘s wedding!

Nina adamantly said THIS about her relationship with the 36-year-old:
“I’ve said this before, that we didn’t break up because anything bad happened or because there wasn’t love or friendship. I love him and the friendship is still strong and I think he’s great and I care about him. And that didn’t change. Yes, we’re professional and that’s fine. We were friends long before we dated and we still are now.”
Aw!! At least they can still be friends! A lot of problematic celebrity exes can definitely learn a lot from these two!

As for Ian and Nikki’s recent wedding plans, the former TVD actress said:
“When I heard about the wedding, I thought it was beautiful. They look happy and I am happy and so I don’t see why there should be a problem with that. The drama is in the media, it’s not with us. But of course, we’re on a teen drama show, everyone’s going to look for drama. If there’s no drama, there’s nothing to write about. I just ignore it.”
Seriously though, how perfect is their relationship friendship??
Everyone in the world should strive to keep platonic and friendly relationships like this former couple — how much better would the world be if everyone was nice to each other?!
