We’re just glad Josh Herdman and his poppa are okay!
In a recent interview, the Harry Potter star’s ( AKA Gregory Goyle) dad, Martin Herdman, opened up about a scary September 15 motorcycle accident in London. Apparently the father and son were enjoying a leisurely ride until they encountered an oil slick on the road which unfortunately sent their hog out of control.

Martin explained:
“The wheel slipped on the road and just went ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ I tried to straighten it up but the back was sideways. We were both unconscious for several seconds before coming round. It was quite a nasty accident, I thought I had broken my shoulder and my son thought he broke his leg and his hand.”
Oh no! But wait, the story gets WORSE.
According to Herdman, they had to wait 90 minutes for an ambulance. WHAT?!
The frustrated 59-year-old complained:
“We were left sat waiting on the side of the road with police for about an hour-and-a-half before the ambulance arrived. One ambulance going past even stopped to ask what had happened but they either had someone in the back or were on their way to another call.”
Eek! Sounds like a nightmare!
To be fair, a London Ambulance Service spokesperson explained the delay, stating:
“We are very sorry that we were unable to be there any sooner; we are very busy and prioritize our patients who are critically ill.”
Well, that makes sense. It sounds like the ambulance service did the best they could with their given resources.
